"Leng Jai" Davis sets off with primarily good intentions but fails miserably as the semester moves on with a series of highly uninspiring, unorganized lectures. The subjective grading also destroys any merit the class may have originally carried; however, he is a highly attractive individual--this may provide some incentive to taking the course.

Class is light in its requirements (reading, assignments), but the 2 exams are graded stringently and are only determinants of grade. Davis is a very knowledgeable and kind man. He speaks very softly though so it's imperative that you sit close to him if you are to get anything out of lecture.

Old guy, but great guy. One of the easier ECON 300 level classes. Grading may seem arbitrary as an unknown TA does it, but easy to renegotiate with the professor. Recommended.

one of the best professors here. you have to sit close though because he does not project well anymore. those who find him boring clearly sat to far back and couldn't hear, as he is anything but. davis is the man. teach on brother.

It's really past due that he retires. He's a nice man, but he should sell his lectures to doctors that help Insomnia, as he's easily the most boring lecturer that I've ever had. He also never writes on the board, which is bizarre in an econ class.

I cannot think of a class that was more subjective in its grading than this one. He doesn't have email. Just a poorly organized class considering it is 4 credits
