I've taken 3 classes from this professor and he really is a good teacher. The way the discussions are handled and not having to reply back to other students when your just trying to do your own work and not worry about other people is really refreshing. I wish other teachers taught the way he does. If I could take every class from him I would.

Tom was an amazing music teacher! Definitely worth taking 101 on campus, as long as you show up and take notes, you get all the answers to the tests. Also, all of our tests were take-home, which made it much easier! NO OUT OF CLASS WORK. Tom is also very kind, nice, and funny! Makes a lot of jokes and has a real passion for music!

I took MUSC101 online with Foggia, and I was overall very impressed by him. Each week we were assigned a few chapters to read, a lecture to read, and then a forum assignment, which was very easy if you read. He always replies to the forum posts and gave good feedback, and whenever you email him, he responds. He's an easy grader and super funny.

Excellent teacher. Expectations are clear. He is available to answer questions. Definitely reads the term paper. Tests are open book and not timed. You are given to opportunities per test/quiz. I wish I needed more credits in this area. I would certainly take a class taught by him again.

Professor Tom is the best. He is more than helpful. He gives you all the time you need for the tests and all the answers are in the book. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about music. He is the best teacher I've had so far. Take this class you'll be glad you did. He will help you when you need it. responds fast to emails too

Foggia is a great prof. Exams require you to have read the book, discussion post topics are interesting and actually require you to know something about the topics covered. Entertaining lecture posts and keeps things interesting. Third one in my family to go to him and comes highly recommended! Great class and teacher.

I thought music would be easier than it was but I learned so much from this course. Mr Foggia was very helpful. If you do your work you should be fine. Mr Foggia is there to help, answer question and guide students through his course. I would definitely recommend his class to others as I am taking another course led by him.

Great class, great professor! I highly recommend it to any college freshman. I took it doubling as a high school senior/college freshman and it was a great way to get the feel of things. He is very helpful, grades easy. One of my favorite classes and professors. Always responds in a timely manner to emails.
