Prof. Gracon is a cool teacher. He has a dry sense of humor, but his classes are pretty interesting to listen to. You don't really need the book, just download the ppt. slides and study off of that. Cases and tests are pretty straightforward and his final is based off the most commonly missed questions from the previous midterms.

Comment:

The class was easy. Didnt need the book, just print out his online slides & study those. The exams were easy. The 1st was the hardest of the 4 midterms. There are 3 case studies to do, & 1 topic paper. You don't need to show up for class, just make sure to go to class on the day of the pop quiz (he writes on the board B4 class if there is a quiz).

Lectures are somewhat interesting. Homeworks 3 articles summarized and Questions to a case study. Tests are straight from lecture; mostly vocabulary and lists of things... EASY if you study. The final is ALL the tests put together.. no extra studying

I don't see how people can call him boring. Relative to other business classes, his lectures are actually interesting. He was my favorite professor last semester and is incredibly nice. Study the powerpoints. Exams can be a little challenging but, if you prepare, it should be a breeze. Highly recommended.

Prof Gracon is nice but the class is BORINNNNNNNGgg!!!!! He has 4 midterms whihc are T/F, Matching, and short answers. He gives you vocab to memorize for the matching part. Tf is kinda hard, and shrt answer can be hard. Final is a grp project-easy. There are 4 case studies (1pg each)His class is not that bad, A or B is attainable.

Gracon like bacon is a nice professor BUT the class can be boring at times. There are 4 midterms the final is the group project. 4 articles pretty easy. Exams are pretty hard if you dont pay attention to lectures, ur book, notes, etc. T/F, matching, n 5 essay questions. If you have problems just ask willing to help students.

Boring teacher! He just reads his powerpoint notes in class.You can download them from his website.You never really need to go to his class except for his tests.There will be be stuff on the test that he talks about only in class but it's such a small portion, it's not worth it.Final project is fairly simple just make sure to get a good group.

BORING class!!! But easy!!! Teaches everything from ppt so you don't even have to show up. Midterms are basically vocab, T/F, and fill-in. Study vocab list and slides and you should be fine. Great class to have at 730am since showing up late is not a problem.

very knowledgeable instructor. traveled a lot. he's helpful if you ask for help. 4 midterms, 1 final (based off power point and vocabs from book), turn in 3 articles (easy) + 1 case study for every midterm coming up (you will need to buy the book for case studies. easy though). unexpected quizzes. highly recommnended!! :-)

print out his vocabulary for the chapters and that alone is a huge percentage in the exams... out of 3 hw I did one good one, i did a bad job on the second(on purpose) and never did the final hw , still got a B, could have had an A , but I concentrated on other classes. final is composed of questions form previous 3 exams----TAKE HIM, HE IS EASY!

This is a great class if you are a sophomore. If you are a senior it's boring because it repeats every other class you already took. Despite this, Gracon is very clear, tests are easy, and if you just show up to class you will do well. Lectures come from powerpoint and can be boring so bring a laptop. Overall Gracon is a good prof - take him.

One of the best teachers I ever had here at SJSU. He is very clear and easy to understand during his lectures. All he uses is powerpoints that you can print out in advance before coming to class. So note taking is a breeze. However, he have a lot of work but don't worry they are all quite simple. 5 quizes, 3 hws, 3 midterms, 1 final..Easy A..

Interesting class. Clear and straight forward. 3 midterms(pay attention to review day before midterm, he will tell exactly what to expect on test, know vocabulary) and pop quizzes(pay attention to that day's lecture, all covered). Final will be based on midterm's most missed questions.

this class is very easy if you always attend class. His study guides and slides make it even easier. Don't get behind in points because it may come back to haunte you. this subject is not boring, and for once the teacher doesn't make it so.

This class is boring itself, but Gracon makes the class easy. Just go to lectures, study off the PowerPoint slides, memorize vocabs, and you'll do fine in class. He pulls questions from the first 3 midterms for the final. Just study off that. Pretty simple! Easy A!
