He's a really great teacher, enjoys what he does and has others enjoy it as well. You better read what he assigns or he will know, and makes sure the class knows too. Always willing to help, meets with you whenever you need.

Kinsella loves to teach and it shows. I'm a PSYC/EDUC major and loved this course, and the way he taught it. He is kind, does not criticize mistakes, willing to to work with you, cracks jokes about himself. I've learned and laughed so much already. Lecture based with exercises, but gets the information into you. Love it and him!

I loved Professor Kinsella and am taking him every opportunity I get. His tests can be difficult, but they are not difficult if you participate and do homework. He is great at answering emails and is always on campus and willing to help. He set aside many study sessions a week for my class to go and ask for help on anything we were learning.

Kinsella is probably the only man that can ever make Grammar the most interesting subject. His tests are difficult but if you pay attention to his lectures, you won't have a problem. He really cares about his students.. and his cats. You MUST take Kinsella at least once, preferably every chance you get. He is the man.

Professor Kinsella is the bomb-diggity. His classes are predominantly simple lectures with heavy student participation, but he makes the material a lot of fun. I can guarantee you will have a good time and learn a lot if you take his course.

I graduated from Stockton in 2004 and I still think of him as one of the best teachers. I took most of his classes. I remember sitting in his office and asking him how he became an English professor. He inspired me to become one, and today, I am happy to have been teaching college for 4 yrs!

Kinsella is probably my favorite teacher at Stockton. I've had him for grammar, Irish Litt, and an independent study. He's not easy, per se, but he is helpful and thorough, and he gives you all of the tools you need to do well. His lessons are also very fun, he has a natural humor and he puts an effort into making the lessons entertaining.

Medieval Irish Litt is amazing. The style of writing takes some getting used to, but the stories are funny, quirky and crazy; so is Kinsella. He acted scenes out, crawled around the room, and drew ridiculous pictures on the board. And our last paper was an original Irish tale which was "performed" in front of class. Take him. You won't be sorry.

Kinsella is the man! Litt Research is rough, no matter who teaches it, but with Kinsella he makes it fun and interesting. He is very straightforward and has a true passion for teaching. His little stories are the best! I would also recommend his punctuation class, which is awesome!

South Jersey Senior Sem is the best class I've ever had. The project possibilities were endless because Kinsella wanted us to be engaging as well as engaged. We each made up our own unique course as we went along, with a rare kind of freedom and excitement. His encouragement, interest in our ideas, and faith in our abilities made this class a gift.

Milton is tough; the old British stuff can be pretty dense. I was complaining about how stupid it made me feel after class and Kinsella said, "Anyone can read the easy stuff. Why would you want to do that? It's the hard stuff that makes you better." I think that's why I take him over and over again - he makes me, and all of his students, better.

This was the first time Kinsella taught Punctuation, but it was awesome. Nobody else could make commas interesting, but he did it because his love for what he's teaching always comes through - and it's infectious. There were two short papers, one long story, a texting survey, two tests - and a good amount of grammar. So if that scares you, beware.

A great teacher. He expects a ton from you, but he really knows what he is talking about. Will challenge you in Milton, Punctuation, Grammar and every course you take with him, but you will learn 2x what you would with anyone else.

Kinsella is the Grammar-King! I looked forward everyday to his class, and I learned so much. He does everything in his power to help you understand, including web videos, worksheets, and out-of-class study sessions. There were two really easy papers. I really hope I can take punctuation with him too!

Prof. K was the best teacher/professor I've ever had. I graduated many yrs ago, but when I was attending Stockton I simply took every class Prof. K taught regardless of subject matter. He is caring, funny as hell, and loves to share his knowledge of literature. I hope you know what a positive impact you've had on many of our lives Tom-All the best!
