Professor Murphy is the absolute best!! He is very animated and keeps class fun and exciting. Probably my favorite professor thus far. I would recommend his courses to anyone. His classes aren't exactly easy... you will have to work but at the end of the semester you will feel like you actually learned alot without feeling overwhelmed. <3 him!!

Easily the best History professor at NJCU. Book unnecessary. Important to come to class and take notes - test are 100% based on lecture. Not as easy as other professors, but you will learn three times more. Also a great example of how to teach if you plan on being a teacher. Funny and makes class exciting.

Awesome teacher! Funny and very knowledgeable. Very fair, helpful and treats you well. I learned a lot in the class and it was fun. Just 5 paragraph essays and he provides you with enough material to complete. Got an A in the class!
