Intro to Public Relations - Tom is a GREAT teacher; subject matter is fascinating; if you have a good imagination/can think on your feet, you will do well - I wish I had discovered PR 30 years ago because my career would be totally different. TAKE THIS CLASS.

He's a polite and kind man. But polite and kind does not a great professor make. Like the one reviewer wrote below, he's very pompous and self-congratulatory. If he actually taught the subject matter for which he's supposedly such an "expert", perhaps he could be great. But he didn't.

Great teacher. Explains topics throughly and challenges us to think outside of our normal thought process. Shows films that help explain the topics as well. Really enjoyed the class and would definately recommend it!

Tom is probably the kindest and most likable man at MCC. I loved his class, and would never miss it for the world. It's a shame that Tom will be retiring from MCC this year, we have truly lost a gem. All of Tom's students love him and he will be missed at MCC.

Great teacher. Really cares about his students. He is my favorite professor at MCC and i already took 3 of his classes. The only think that he gets mad about it if your late too class so if your one to scroll in late then expect to be called out on it.

If you are at all interested in media (internet, TV, etc), Tom is your man, he will broaden your horizons beyond expectations (not to mention he's the nicest guy you'll ever find) We had about 4 pages, each two pages long double spaced, his classes were lecture based. FANTASTIC prof!

would have enjoyed his class if not for his arrogance. His achievements, family, and yearly income were not necessary topics but came up every class. I dont care that his friends drive BMWs that he never drives a car more than 2 years old or that his niece learned a new word. not as smart as he thinks he is. needs to spend more time on the subject

I took his class on-line. Not a bad class overall. I wish he was more into attachments instead of just drop boxes, but no biggie. He grades fair and all he askes is you put effort into your work. He responds fast to e-mails. I would recomend him.
