Passionate and extremely knowledge about Intl trade. Class isn't mandatory, but his lectures are really engaging and if my class wasn't at 9AM I probably would've went more. Material is not difficult, all straightforward concepts. Holds review sessions before each exam. 4 total exams (all weighted the same), drops the lowest basically .

This was an online class, Personal Finance and Decision Making. Full notes/ Calculator on the midterms. If you have formulas inputted on spreadsheet you're golden. I have ZERO experience in any of that stuff but still managed to do ok. Lots of homework to be done through connect. He is very helpful if you ask. lots of extra credit opportunity.

An A is definitely achievable in this class. The final was cumulative but because of his grading system this was completely reasonable. This also made me study the material from the whole semester not just the last four weeks, which is a good thing if you value understanding the material. Take it seriously and you'll do well. He's a good professor.

As someone who's gotten straight A's in econ, this class is not an easy A. Class isn't mandatory, but I recommend going. Prusa is a nice guy and willing to help, his tests aren't super easy but are doable. The final is 80% of grade if you do better than the midterm, failed the midterm but studied hard for the final and pulled off a B+.

Great guy! Helpful, funny, smart, and knows what he's talking about. Hands down the best professor I've had in the econ department. He'll challenge you, Final was 80% of my grade!! But you'll learn A LOT !!!

If you're not interested in economics, this class is going to be awful no matter who you have as a professor. Prusa is a good lecturer who tries to get the class involved in the material. It's hard to get an A in this class if you don't like econ, but if you at least understand most of the concepts you can pull off a C.

Micro sucks, thought I was gonna get a D in the class but I pulled a B out of my ass somehow. Either it was a big curve or he said he weights the exams differently according to how it will work in favor for each student. I'm glad I took him over any of the other jerks who teach micro

Awesome guy. Classes are mandatory, but so helpful; I didn't open the textbook once. Managed a B, if I'd tried harder definitely could've gotten an A easily. Don't take it with any other professor!

Prusa is a great lecturer and a funny guy. Attendance is mandatory and their is weekly homework. Exam 1 is easy, 2 is hard, and the final is hard as well. Correct iclicker is extra credit. No curve in the class.

He's a good teacher. Either read the book or pay attention in class and read the notes for the tests. Mandatory iclicker so don't miss any class (plus he's interesting). Exam 1 is pretty easy. Exam 2 is hard. Final exam is okay. I got an A in class but i think there was a huge curve or something.

I got an A in this class. He gives iclicker problems in class, which is basically your attendance grade. iclicker problems help you understanding materials. He also gives aplia hw every week. Tests are not easy, but if you understand the concept and study you will be fine.

Uhm... he's definitely a nice guy. Attendance is mandatory, it counts as 10% of your final grade. His exams are on the harder end, and he has weekly homework. Really, I didn't put much effort into the class and I got a B, so it shows that just showing up to class and listening will get you somewhere. I liked him. Doesn't let you use technology!

He is a good professor and is pretty interesting. He reads off Powerpoint slides and sometimes goes on tangents. iClicker is mandatory. His midterms are very difficult if you don't find the topic interesting, but the final is very fair. He does not tolerate cellphone or laptop use.

Strongly advise not taking micro with this guy. He's smart & a good prof. but his exams are complete BS and hard. I know if I took any other section, I would've gotten an A. He's not very understanding either. Other sections looked like a bobo section compared to this guy's micro section.

Great professor, I loved this class. Not that much work, exams aren't that bad (multiple choice). He doesn't curve, but he is very helpful and gives extra credit through iclicker. You can tell he knows the subject and loves teaching. Wish he taught macro too! DO NOT use your cell phone in class though!

Professor Prusa is by far the greatest Professor I have had at Rutgers University. He generates interest in the material and clearly know exactly what he is teaching to his students. I wish all of my lecturers loved what they were teaching as much as Prusa love economics. He makes the material very easy to understand and will help if you don't.

Prof. Prusa is the best professor I've had so far. His very clear and also he keeps his classes interesting. I got an A in his class, and it really wasn't that hard. Also attending to class counts as extra credit due to iclickers. I wish I could take him again.

My goodness, he is the BEST. while his exams were a bit difficult, the final was very fair. He is a WONDERFUL professor--he'll throw in some life lessons in class and he really knows what he's talking about. Always prepared, always open to questions, just study hard and you'll do great. his iclicker policy is really fair, too.

Very nice and knowledgeable professor His teaching methods are standard and he doesn't deviate much from the book. First midterm very straight forward, second really hard and the final was average. Lots of Aplia homework which was rather annoying but I did learn alot and he is very helpful if you go to his office hours.
