Toner conducts the band, and for anyone considering joining, DO IT! Not a major time commitment, and you get to play some great pieces. You will meet great people and have a blast. I was intimidated at first, but you settle in quick. The audition is more for him to know who you are, and is very low key.

Prof Toner is hysterical. He likes to poke fun at himself and at the class. He has a good attitude and is very knowedgeable regarding ethnomusicology. I would greatly reccommend his World Music class, not too hard and fun.
