I had T-wade for Theory and Piano. When it comes to theory, his teaching style worked for me because I think he's funny but in piano he is a nightmare. His piano class is just a bunch of untrained students getting embarrassed by wade.

Had him for piano too. Loves to embarass students. Not at all helpful. His goal seems to be to kill your love for music. Avoid if possible.

A shame this man is still teaching - I had him ages ago and he was the 'penultimate' worst teacher I ever had. I now teach theory and sight-singing and when a kid comes to me for help and I find the patience to help them, or when I treat them respectfully, like the professional musician they will someday be, I remember what Wade didn't do for me.

Mr. Wade is a great guy. I have him for theory and piano. He is very approach able for help and if people can get past his harsh attitude, you can learn to appreciate how he uses that harshness to push you to be a better musican and musianly scholar. Piano is hard but he knows when you work hard too

Mr. Wade was not a push over when I had him 20 years ago, but not that I think of him, I am appreciative of the fact he made me work and not just push me through! I am now an accomplished director and composer because he didn't settle.

Professor presents material in a very complicated fashion where it needs to be presented on simpler terms. Very hard to understand sometimes and very hard to get a good grade in. THEORY does not have to be intellectualy spell binding!!!

Nobody cares more about the students or the school. I thought so twenty years ago when I was in his piano classes and students still feel that way today. Even now as I struggle to graduate (finally) he is there as my advisor, helping me out any way he can
