Brother Tom is a great guy an professor. He really cares about the students and wants the succeed. Although he does grade paper very tough and hard to get an A. He gives really good feedback on the paper though. It is pretty tough but you learn a lot.

Brother Tom is a really neat guy. He cares a lot about his students and what he's teaching. Class can get a little boring but he does his best to keep it interesting. He is definitely a stingy grader when it comes to papers but he offers little assignments along the way to keep your grade up. Reading before class is essential. Overall cool dude.

One of the best professors I've had. He is a very stingy grader and can be tough. Reading for every class is of utmost importance. I would recommend him if you want to learn and don't mind a challenging teacher.

Brother Tom is by far one of the best English professors I have had at UD. He is willing to talk whenever you feel lost or if you are struggling. He is a harsh grader, but he does that for a reason. He is highly intelligent, funny, and an overall great person.

One of the best professors I ever had. He is highly intellegent as well as caring and kind. He is a tough grader because he has high expectations, but you will LEARN in his class. I highly recommend him for English majors, and you should talk to him outside class because he is such a wonderful person, as well as intellegent.

very nice guy and good teacher. funny too. likes what he does and helping his students. a lot of papers to write but they arent too tough. he grades them a bit harshly, though. his reading quizzes cushion your grade though, they are easy if you read.

Not a bad class-- great if you love English. He's really smart and gets into great discussions with the class. His tests are pretty hard though, so study like a fiend. Also lots of reading-- but not too boring.
