Good teacher. Younger students don't like him because of his age, but if you listen to him you learn a lot. He doesn't tolerate opinions with no facts to back them up, which is why people of certain political leanings complain. Great guy overall, corny but funny.

Engaging, not even, doesn't promote student learning, is offensive and demeaning. My experience with him contrasts with the universities mission statement and turned me away from political science. Other students I spoke with after my course echo these points. I agree, stay away from his courses. Ask his students about him, and yes; be warned.

Horrible professor! Has a bad memory and students suffer for it, gets of track, arrogant, & condescending. Here is the problem; he had tenure and retired years ago and now teaches for free, therefore the university will not get rid of him and police up this badly performing professor because there is no cost to them. Be warned is all I'm saying

Yes, he rambles, yes, he's old, and yes, he's corny. He's also one of the most engaged professors I've had. If you make the effort, so will he. Show up, do your work, take notes, and you'll do well in his classes. If you don't want to do the work, you won't do well.

Gets off track constantly, daily reminds you of how old he is, daily mentions his wife, makes statements and then says "If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you," Can't think through situations (possibly because of his age. Just be warned that most of his students wwish they hadn't signed up for his class.

Horrible teacher, going to class is usually useless because all he does is ramble about things that don't pertain to the class and constantly get off subject. He said that he had emailed me things that were important for the class twice although I never recieved them. If possible never take a class taught by him.

At the beginning i was really iffy, but he really did care about his students. Since so many people dropped he gave a lot of oppertunities for extra credit including 90 possible on the final. I think thats pretty nice if you ask me. I ended up getting an 104 percent in the course. If you go to all classes and study hard and write good you wil be ok
