Dr. Young is a real nice guy. Since he went to Harvord he knows more then the average person. This guy really knows how to explain philosophy and make it interesting for everyone to learn. Tests aren't difficult if you study a little bit every night. Good teacher

Makes a hard subject like philosophy fun by pertaining it to todays society. Tests are tricky only if you don't learn your stuff. If u can grasp the concepts shouldn't be to hard. need to read though to keep up. very dedicated to philosophy, made me change my major to it

dr. young is a very nice guy who loves his job! he's funny and cares alot about his students. he is very boring, and his tests are hard. i wouldnt take him again if i had the choice. but if you are stuck with him, it wont be too bad. he really is a very nice guy.

If you must take philosophy then so be it take his course otherwise....stay away from Young. He lectures through overheads, has difficult notes to understand and has tough tests. He reminds me of a preacher of a church when he lectures, very into work.
