Ok I will be honest he is not easy alot of hard work! He is a no bs kinda guy either you are there to learn or drop and If you don't he will tell don't waste his time and he will make it even harder for you. I was there to learn and he knew this he is actually the kinda of professor others should learn from at Harper . He is old school and in my opinion that's what every student should encounter first semester to make the way and set boundaries to shape us to work for our grades and maybe learn!

You have to turn in a paper every alternate week. He has a lot of expectations and if you keep upto it and work hard you can get a good grade. But, remember he has his own "beliefs" so if you ever go against it he's going to give you a hard time. His lectures are boring but he is nice and funny. His sense of humor will keep you awake

I loved this class. Tony is a fair grader, but you have to work for your grade. If he sees that you are trying, it will be to your advantage. Your writing will improve dramatically but GO TO THE WRITING CENTER WHEN HE IS THERE. I got A's on every paper with his help. Hands down best teacher I've ever had at Harper.

He is a great teacher. Very interesting. Fair grader. Nice and caring. Good sense of humor.If you read short story/poem quizes are easy. Papers are fairly graded . If you fellow direction from the beginning and participate you can get an A . I learned alot and it was a 8wk class.Not sure if he will do what he did for our class but AWESOME!!!!!!

This person made me absolutely HATE English, and it is not because his accent. He is not clear, makes you work like a slave, gives not opportunity to make up and it is a horrible grader. I am an A student in 68 credits I took at Harper and he gave me my first B. I really would recomend NOT to take this class EVER

Well, I have had him for six weeks now and I think hes great. You have to get used to his sense of humor, but once you realize that he jokes a lot, he's funny and very, very down to Earth. I am a devout Christian, but nothing about what he says offends me. I honestly think he is making me a better thinker and writer :)

Best teacher... ever? I'm in his class for the 3rd semester in a row. Yes, things can get boring, yes he has a Grecian accent... but it's well worth it all. He's one of those mind openers. However, you may get offended if you are a christian or a right-winger; what a guy!
