If you expect to drift through university without putting work into it then this prof is not for you. Tony assigns a lot of readings but they are relevant and extremely helpful for understanding the material. Tony is very clear on what he expects. He's a bit of a hard marker, but if you do the work there's no reason not to get a good grade.

I found that he had decent lectures, however his actual material was mostly pictures, you have to take all your own notes, and the textbook had way to much content for the course. His tests are way beyond what he teaches!

Tony is fine. His lectures were very interesting, but also I just really liked the material. My biggest complaint is that his notes are quite poorly organized--too many big pictures on the powerpoints and not enough space to write things down. Also not very clear about what you need to know. Tests are unpredictable. Nice guy, though.

VERY VERY DIFFICULT PROF! super hard marker; very picky. can have right answer, with just one mistake, instead of taking off 0.5-1 mark, he will mark it all wrong. do not recommend. when you ask for help, he makes you feel completely useless!

Classes are very boring with Tony. He is to the point but its only good if you can stay awake. Poor sense of humour. Id give him a B as an instructor.

Have taken several courses with Tony and he's been amazing in all of them. He's very clear and he knows his stuff. Tough marker in terms of details but he wants to make sure you know your stuff and not BSing it. He's fair and very helpful. You always walk out of his classes amazed and you walk out learning a lot. Lectures are interesting too.

I really enjoyed his class. Sometimes, it was a bit boring, but it was also at 8:30, so that didn't help. He's a really good guy, and I'd recommend him to anyone.

VERY organized! He makes the topic fairly interesting to. He's not to animated but he talks about the interesting exceptions for fun. If the marking is subjective (like a paper or lab write-up), don't expect an A without stupid amounts of work. B's are easy enough though, just show up and listen.

He is very specific about the answers he wants but all of the answers are in the notes. As long as you pay attention and study the note you will be fine. However, there are projects in his classes.

Tony is a good teacher who lays out a lot of concepts in class, my only problem was with the dummies who came to class to sleep. You waste everyone's time, especially Tony's.
