The class was pretty easy but not my personal favorite. Her tests are easy, she only required 3 essays, and is an adorable little woman.

I took several classes from Tracey 14 years ago, and after all of this time, I am still grateful. Without her, my thinking would lack a precision that has led to significant successes in my life. I wish that I'd been more humble and accepted what she was trying to do.

Comment:

Dr. Sedinger is amazing! She is so intelligent, it blows my mind. Definitely go to class because her lectures are super interesting and your notes will help on the reading quizzes (which can be tough because missing one question brings you down a lot). She is very fair, will give you feedback if you ask, and tries to set the class pace based on us.

I loved Tracey, for being a 50 year old woman, she's hilarious and is relatable! This class was pretty easy for the most part, and I've only done about a quarter of the assigned readings. However, her lectures tend to drag on but overall it was a good class!!

Get ready for LONG class periods as they are very boring. She is obsessed with sex and never stops talking about it even when it doesn't relate.

Took Tracey for 3 classes and used as an advisor. She was incredibly helpful as an advisor and engaging as an instructor. I like that Tracey does not try to simplify Shakespeare so students can better understand. She emphasizes that Shakespearian works are good learning tools because they force in-depth, critical thinking.

Tracy is not accessible, and aside from her lectures (which were great) I would have no other reason to recommend this professor. She presented her own opinions as fact and was unwilling to accept differing view points, even when they were backed by scholarly sources.

Professor Sedinger is one tough cookie. She is an opinionated woman who I theorize eats and drinks novels. I love her class discussions but I feel as though she neglected to give us real help and feedback on our papers. If you want help in her class, make an appointment with her. Be proactive and you will probably succeed.

I think Tracey is a good teacher. She's a hard grader, but gives good feedback (although her handwriting is a little hard to read haha!). She's really funny, and she learns everyone's names, making everyone feel welcome and important! I went into the class hating Shakespeare, and now I think his works are kind of interesting!
