I have taken her for 3 Soc classes and loved having her for all of them. Very funny, makes class as interesting as she can. Very helpful. A lot of work but if you stay on top of it you will do fine! :)

Awesome Professor! Very hilarious. Read directions on tests because she puts answers in the directions. She gives several short (5 questions, 10 points) pop quizzes. You technically are supposed to use textbook to study for quizzes, but I managed to get B's on all her pop quizzes without reading it. Gives lots of extra credit!

Easy class just gives alot of busy work. If your unemployed & childless then take her class. She gives atleast 3+ weekly articles to read, a book, and a paper. Very nice professor will help you any way she can.

Well, we talk alot about the social aspects of sex, yes, sex, not sexuality, but intercourse. As a guy in the class, the material and subjects talked about made me feel like all us men do is basically hate women and use them as sex tools. . . but Steele doesn't think that and neither do most of the girls. Decent, fun class, but kinda pointless.

Absolutely Fantastic prof. Very funny and scary smart but doesn't come off all superior. Have had her for 3 classes now, all different but awesome. Classes range in difficulty (Intro is the easiest). I would never say she was easy but always fair. Lots of work but you learn a ton and have fun doing it. Really seems to care that you learn.

I can't say enough about Tracey, she is awesome. The class is very interesting and informative and Tracey is quite humorous. She genuinely cares about her students and wants to offer an enjoyable course for them. I highly recommend her for any Soc/Gender Studies class you want/need to take.
