This guy seems like a pain when you first start, but he's really grown on me. Was gonna transfer out but glad I didn't. Just know your material for presentations and you'll be fine on those. 100% of the test is in the textbook- if you study it carefully you'll be doing great.

Not interested in marketing and this professor made it even harder to understand the material. He read straight off the powerpoints and left no time for taking notes in class so make sure you read the chapter before class. The tests are hardly based off his lectures. Read the textbook and you will be okay

Professor Waddell is one of the kindest teachers I've had so far. This was a required class; I had no prior interest in the subject. But because he really believes that students should learn and succeed, he gives students all the time and resources needed to do just that. I think he's a great asset to the sju community.

If you study the textbook, you will get an A. Easy grader for mandatory individual and group presentations. For the test, you MUST know all the textbook definitions. It seems hard but honestly, this is my least favorite class but the one I learned the most from. Low-key funny and he really cares for students. Often tries to prepare us for real life

Easy Professor. Very understanding. You have to present in class with your group, its not hard really just say a few words from the slides. However, choose your group wisely, because once you have someone who does not go the work, you have to deal with it. When it comes to exams though, you do have to read the text or else you'll fail.

TERRIBLE PROFESSOR HORRIBLE VERY BAD. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Only reads from power point. Tests are extremely hard for no reason. You need to memorize like 60 terms/ definitions for each test. Extremely overwhelming. Has the accent of Bane mixed with Ozzy Osbourne you will not understand him...

Awful teacher. He has an accent which you can still understand but he mumbles all the time. He teachers directly off of slides which come directly from the book. Ally our assignments other than the midterm and final are in a group which you select one of the first weeks of class.

He's a very nice man. Very professional. Your grade depends alot on the group presentations, article presentations, and the 3 exams. The exams are kind of hard because you study definitions, but the exam has "scenarios" that you have to evaluate instead of defining. He's funny and knows his stuff. This class will make you feel globally aware.

I really actually like this professor. Sit up front and turn in all assignments on time. He curves the tests so you only need to study the definitions in the book. Easy B.

Not the most riveting teacher but a good time at 9am. Uses the textbook often. He expects you to read the chapter before class but he'll just go over it again so it's not necessary. Tests are very definition happy. One big project and 2 tests. Individual article presentations throughout. Not the most exciting class but not awful

He is really a nice guy. He wants his students to do extremely well. The people with negative things to say about this guy probably didn't study or pay attention. Come to class, must bring/use textbook, he preps you for everything that's going to be on the test. Multiple questions, one powerpoint and a few reaction papers. EASY A, just put effort.

Such a great guy! He wants his students to do well and that is his goal. His class can be boring at times but he makes it enjoyable. He stresses the marketing plan project and wants the class to do well on the project. Overall great professor and definitely worth taking his class.

He's a rather nice guy, means well, but isn't a very good teacher. Every class consists of him pretty much reading the chapter, and it's done too quickly to keep up. The tests are straight forward but broad. He's a good guy, but i do not recommend this class.

I was really excited about taking Marketing until Waddell turned it into a joke. Someone else said it perfectly-- it's like he doesn't want to teach and takes it out on his students. Mocks students who ask questions (even though you HAVE to because he never clarifies anything and contradicts himself constantly). Class is a waste of money and time.

Horrible professor. Very harsh, horrible clarity, and very mean. He seems like he doesn't want to be teaching and takes it out on the students. Attacks students, and makes them contradict themselves. If you have him as a professor for a class, try and drop it!
