I don't know why professors who are so terrible still get to have a teaching position at this university. Her lecture slides are a mess with partial details yet you better bet that she demands you know details she barely mentions. In addition, she has a rude attitude and before beginning lecture tells you not to interrupt with questions.

This teacher is very unorganized. Very unprofessional lectures with random drawings that are very confusing. She definitely should consider using pictures and diagrams from a book. Her exams are too much. She is also rude when you try to talk to her.

Professor Berger's way of teaching is very ineffective. She draws in lecture, her pictures are very ambiguous and badly drawn. The TA's didn't even know what she was trying to portray at times. She has "two-day" exams and they are all short answer AND essay format. I was very disappointed with her class.

Dr. Berger is super scatter brained. Her lectures are all over the place. She doesnt use slides but will upload what she hand writes. Often this is a page with a drawing and two random words on it. You need to listen to lectures twice to make sense of them. Shes also kind of rude in person. Tests are fair tho.

Go to lecture and you'll be fine. It's a fairly hard topic, but if you go to lecture and study your notes it's not bad at all. There are harder classes, and if you GO TO LECTURE, this is not a class you should worry about. She draws diagrams and writes in lecture, so its easy to keep up, but podcasts sometimes don't really help.

I personally loved Professor Berger. You pretty much have to remember what she says during lecture (podcasting helps) and regurgitate that information on exams, which weren't hard by any means (the averages were 80-90 on the midterms and final). Her diagrams can be a little confusing, but she's willing to clarify. Overall, I recommend her.

Has ruined the gpa of many future medical students because of negligence and passivity. Students have tried to get her fired but she has tenure. Steer clear if expect your grades to reflect your effort. An animal science professor teaching an npb class.

Loved this class! Dr. Berger makes this class really interesting with her funny humor. She's very helpful during OH so take advantage. I listened to podcast and rewrote notes to get an A.

She is a great teacher. She really cares about her students and really tries to engage everyone with her enthusiasm for the subject. Tests are predictable but still quite tough. You must go to class in order to get the drawings and pathways correct and how she wants them on the test. Lab is great experience, get to do survival surgeries on mice!

She's very enthusiastic about the subject. The material isn't difficult. However, her explanations are confusing and drawings in class are horrendous. She is willing to explain multiple times but will often be more confusing the 2nd time. Test questions are vague and misleading, but a specific and detailed answer is expected. Poor teaching overall.

The lab was fun. Lecture was kinda confusing at times. Be prepared to take notes using different colored pens. I agree that she knows what she wants us to learn, she just wasn't that great at presenting the material but she was always willing to explain again. Exams are 2 class days: 1st day short answers, 2nd two essays. Thank God for podcasts!

Tests, esp the long essay portion, require good understanding of lec material. Need to know details in order to get full credit. Lecs were interesting but she is a bit unorganized when it comes to presenting the info. But overall good class.

I think her lectures are organized but her notes are not. She knows what she wants us to learn but just can't convey it. She's super nice and willing to explain things over and over. Most questions on the exam are predictable. Other questions are things she never even mentioned. Overall a super nice lady though!

Her notes are DISORGANIZED! She usually keeps talking and doesn't write anything on the board, so we don't know which part is important. Sometimes she starts a list but doesn't complete it (i.e. there's a 1 but not a 2) Often times she sounds like she's contradicting herself. She is willing to explain but her explanations are no help. So CONFUSING!

She's so nice and smart but she draws these terrible and incomprehensible diagrams and her notes are all over the place. You have to go to class for the diagrams. TESTS ARE HARD. I will know the material 100% and still get a C because the essay questions have to be detailed and her questions are unclear. I'm really disappointed with this class.

Notes she writes on the board are horrible because they are disorganized and her handwriting is in like 10 different font sizes. Her drawings can be messy and really hard to understand. Otherwise, pretty easy class. If you don't like repro this class will be a chore. But if you do like repro you probably wouldn't have too much problems with it.

She is really knowledgable about reproduction and is more than willing to spark your interest as well. This class is REALLY cool. I highly recommend this class for pre-vet students as well. You get to learn practical application of reproduction manipulation for use in the livestock industry.
