Her class was very, very easy. She gave you everything you needed to know. I started out very interested in Philosophy but the class was boring and she was not very good at getting discussions going. We hardly had a single discussion all semester. I feel that's pretty important to a philosophy class. An easy 4.0.

PHL 101 and PHL 223. She made the material very easy to understand. She knows most students are taking the class for an elective, so she wants everyone to do well. She goes through every reading from beginning to end to point out the important stuff you need to know. Gives about 2-3 quizes and has you do about 2 papers. Awesome Lady!

Awesome professor. Sometimes made class too easy so that the not so smart kids understood. Explains everything for you in intro, esp when the topics are hard.

Great professor. Take both her classes; will give you the time of day to explain what you don't get. She also lays out how to ace her papers. Study for exams, go to class cause the readings for intro can be hard

Professor McGee was awesome! If you attended her class and took notes and actually listened to what you were supposed to do for the papers you were fine. Also, she gives plenty of extra credit opportunities on exams. She was great. I'd give her an A+++!

Take good notes! Tests are straight from the notes. She explains the theories well enough that you shouldn't have to read them if you are a good note taker. Papers are easy IF you take good notes! I'd take her again in a heartbeat because she made a hard subject SUPER easy. Note taking is key so don't miss any classes!

She is an good a teacher. The class is not easy at all. The theories are very hard to understand and that makes the papers hard. You have to know the theories to do well on the papers. Her test are also very hard.

My favorite professor so far. She has a great personality and is very intelligent. A lot of the theories are very challenging to understand, but she does an incredible job of making even the hardest of theories easier to understand. You can tell she loves what she does and she does it right. Her classes make you love philosophy.

I would have to disagree somewhat with the student comment below about this professor being free of bias. At least during the presidential campaign, she made her views all too apparent--saying that "it's safe to assume" that if McCain would win, the US would have a Hobbesian tyranny.. are you serious? Her classes are very easy, so pick your poiso

Trish is awesome. She makes the material very interesting and gives clear explanations. She seems to be very much a realist and loves to talk to students to hear other perspectives, especially via discussion during class. The biggest issue for me when it comes to classes like this is bias in the teaching. She shows very little and I love that.
