I had Dr Conway for on man and on god in 1986 and 1987. She was one of the best professors that I had. I commend her for thoughtful inquiry class discussion and creating a space where we all were comfortable questioning our long held but not always thought out opinions.

Dr. Conway is a fantastic teacher. She's not easy and she actually requires students to read, which is why a lot of students don't like her. I found her lectures to be very clear and informative. She's a progressive teacher who talked about more than just the text. She made me think about what I was reading, and made me appreciate philosophy.

Dr. Conway's ok. She tends to be quite intence when it comes to being prepared for discussion. In order to do well with her, you've got to come with it. If you participate, know what you're talking about, becasue she will catch you when you're trying to BS an answer. Overall, I'm split between her. If you take her just be sure to come with it.

I absolutely loved her class. She did tend to go on tangents, but most of them were discussion-related. She did play favorites a bit, but she was fair and I loved her and her class. She's very inspiring, and does have her own opinions; however, she gives you the opportunity to disagree with her if you so choose. A great person to talk to.

Conway NEVER stays on topic long enough to actually learn the material. Tangents are common, and when she does explain something, it's not very thorough. I had a decent amount of interest in philosophy prior to the class, but not now. She ruined it for me.

Dr. Conway is absolutely fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite professors. The course is very challenging, but she makes the work very possible. She grades papers pretty harshly, but this improves the quality of writing over the course of a semester. Most likely taking another class with her!

great professor who really cares about her classes. Willing to help and answer many questions. She makes philosophy interesting. i thought i would hate the classes in the beginning of sophomore year and now i actually enjoy philosophy because of her persepctives on it. I highly recommend her!

In contemporary times, her course and personal philosophy are both refreshing and desperately needed antidotes to the perils of ignorance and prejudice especially towards the Middle East. Her course is a blessing to our community
