I am and have been a professional historian for the last 25 years because of this man's love of history. In his class a door was thrown open and the characters of the past were revealed as people as interesting and flawed as those sitting around me. He made me earn it and for that will be forever grateful! Take the class and be proud that you did

Taught history in a way that made it come alive. Very demanding but fair. Knew his subject inside and out. Encouraged independent thought and seriously frowned upon parroting back to him. Expected students to be articulate and prepared for tests on material presented to them.

Great professor. Took him back in 94 and 95. He was TOUGH then and his research projects were NOT to be ignored or put off. You have to study every night and read everything you can, and take good notes. Do that, and listen in class, you will do well. Key is you have to study!!

This guy is great! I mean, just read over the MPs and memorize MP 6, show up for class and listen, you'll do fine! I barely took notes, just listened really well, and it helped. He is funny and you will learn alot of things about history!

the most arrogant professor alive. he has this irrational thought that his class is the only important course his students take. his questions on tests are worded in a very confusing manner.

Tuck is one of the more peculiar animals you will meet at the Campbell zoo. Lectures by him are usually punctuated by volcanic explosions of laughter, usually detonated in astonished appreciation of his own jokes... great guy...

Tuck is very tough! However, he does make you think and work for your grade. I somehow came out with an A in the end. While you need to know the other subject material in correlation with this test in the MPs, the big part of both tests are MP No 6!!! Almost half of your second test will be MP 6 so study it! Tuck is helpful, just go to his office!

Everything in the class is about his ideas about the ideas in history. You can answer a question on his test exactly correct and still get it counted incorrectly. Even when you ask what he wanted he will state almost exactly what you wrote and say its right but your answer is wrong. He is funny, and a good person, but an awful teacher.

This guy is great/crazy. He is hilarious, and he is always in a good mood. He doesnt even use the text that much, but rather puts together his own book in the form of M.P.'s. These are interesting as all get out, and all you have to do is read over them. He is a nice guy and gives easy assignments (library mess) and extra credit. Definitely take.

Funny old man. His accent is great, and he is always in a good mood. He is not as hard as people think, Martin is hard people! Just study his miscellaneous papers and his study guides, its that simple. He loves MP 6, its a biggie and easy too. Ah, the Process of Continuity and Change is the #1 lesson you'll learn and it applies to everything.

He's awful! Tuck can't teach...he just thinks he can. Everything is about his opinion. He goes off on wild tangents during lectures. Stay as far away from him as you can.

Funny ass old man, his fake accent might get to you though. All of his work is laid out in clear directions. The research project will save your grade, and you have all semester to do it, and he gives you all the assignments on the first day. Senial...yes...retirement...soon...take him while you can

William P. Tuck is a crazy old man. But that's what's great about him. Why he has a fake accent, we may never know. Why he dresses so dapper, we may never know. And those slide shows? Crazy. If you want to be entertained, take Prof. Tuck. You'll learn some stuff too. However, he is an acquired taste

NEVER TAKE HIM! He is horrible and you can't understand his fake accent. Whoever said all you have to do is listen is a moron! Nothing he said is relative, he makes up his own history. I'll give him credit, I failed everything and got a "B"???? Only my research project was correct! His mind = GONE
