Comment:

Purchased the expensive textbook, but was never used. All assignments are given a website to use to find the answers however 80% of the websites do not work so you are just using google and hoping to find the answers. Due dates were all wrong from years ago so I missed a very important assignment.

This class was ridiculous. Crazy expensive supplies that aren't even used. No feedback on quizzes. The syllabus/due dates was from 2007. It's currently 2015, so I'll let you figure out what's wrong there. She also closed the course before that final due dates that were mentioned, so now I have two assignment that didn't get done. DO NOT TAKE THIS!!

I enjoyed Dr. Moody's class. She's so helpful and explained labs to me over the phone. The dozen assignments were fill in the blankfollow along with the article link. Just a few tests - nothing too bad. I used her lab manual constantly and almost never the textbook. Appreciated the super straightforward labs. I'm taking her again for Biology.

This class was extremely confusing. All of the work given is dated from 2007 and so on. So you have no realistic idea as to when you assignments are due. I stuck with it doing what I felt was right and ended up passing. I think the key is to just stick it out

Online class: I learned a lot! She gives a phone number & says you can call her & has conference calls too. A lot of reading, open book quizes & tests, I would take her again. Class is not super easy but if you do the work you will do o.k. I liked her accessibility and willingness to help me over the phone. I have never had a more caring professor

Easy class if the work is done. Professor was relatively understanding of extenuating circumstances, however the online course was extremely unorganized and hard to follow. Different places showed different due date and instructions for assignment, and grades section showed repeated chunks of "grades" from past semester classes.

I was excited to take this class, but after completing it I feel like I didn't learn much of anything. Online class, but there was very little interaction from the professor. If you do the work you will get an A, you just probably won't obtain much new information. Textbook was rarely used, everything can be found online.

I took this class online and to be honest, I wasn't able to keep up with all of my assignments because of personal issues. However, the required posts and responses every week were tedious and irritating rather than interesting learning points. The class was a joke and there wasn't any real effort required.

I was a little bored with the class and there was a lot of work.The good thing is there aren't hard deadlines so as long as you get your stuff done by the end of the term, you're good.Field trip, lab book and 4 tests and quizzes +HW. No need for textbook really. Rocks are cheaper on amazon. Would take again because she knows her stuff. Nice lady.

Took 12 wk Anthropology online class. Stay on schedule w/assignments & discussion boards (sometimes 2/wk). Required to read a novel, watch a movie & write summary papers for both as part of midterm/final. VERY SPECIFIC on terminology and examples given. Must cite ALL sources. Exams are essay format, & can answer a question, close & go back later.

On-line lecture notes are jumbled. Assignments are not posted with clarity or continuity. Course was not set-up properly in Blackboard - ever. No feedback or solid direction was given. What would have been a very interesting class was made a massive frustration. It is my belief that Moody is intelligent & that her disorganization is insulting.

I loved Dr. Dirt. This lady knows her stuff. There is a lot of reading and tests are not easy, you have to manage your own schedule and due dates...but this is college folks! I wonder if, perhaps, the students giving her a low rating are the same students who copy and paste their answers and have poor grammar?

I have never failed a class, but this woman changed that for me. Just FYI at midterm the class average was a low C. She is a grammar and plagarism nit pick so don't even use a quote unless you also include a full MLA citation in your answer. Once she suspected and accused me of plagerism she did not give me a grade above a D on any assignment.

Pretty easy class, but I do like Geology a lot. You do need your (expensive!) textbook. There is a mandatory field trip (kind of far, but it was a cool place). She didn't give you feedback after grading your assignments, but was pretty quick at getting back to you if you posted in the discussion section. Do NOT copy and paste your answers for tests

Comment:

Most teachers that I've had have provided me with some form of feedback on tests. Professor Moody does not provide any feedback. The entire structure of the course is unorganized. Links for assignments usually change 2-3 times and you have to hunt for them. She is quite possibly the most difficult online instructor that I've had to deal with.
