He's a nice guy who can be funny. He has an accent but their is no trouble understanding what he says. Don't sit in the first section of COL 150 cause he's always walking around. His quiz questions come straight from the clicker questions. As long as you show up you should get an A. I enjoyed this class and learned some cool stuff.

Great teacher, knows his stuff. Has an accent so he is a bit hard to understand at times, but the class is pretty straightforward. Quizzes every two weeks which can be tricky but if you attend class you should fine. Many of the questions are based off of his iClicker questions. I didn't study much and pulled away with a B in his class.

This class is relatively easy as long as you attend lectures and write down all of the clicker questions. If you don't do this you will struggle. Don't buy the textbook! You'll never use it and 80-90% of the quizzes come from clicker questions and lecture topics. Ulrich's a great guy, sometimes difficult to understand, but not impossible.

Wonderful personality, interesting lectures. Exam questions can be a little wordy and hard to understand, but it's nothing the curve won't compensate for. Highly recommended, take him if you can. He definitely knows the material.

Second time taking his class. Hated him the first time, really like him the second. The difference is reading the text!!! He's very intelligent, a good teacher, but his powerpoints suck and his quizzes are awkwardly worded. Just make sure you write the clicker question answers down, b/c that ends up being 90% of the quizzes. He's pretty funny too

He's a really great professor who knows what he's talking about. However, his accent can make it difficult to understand sometimes, and his tests are not worded very clearly.

Dr. Mayr is a good instructor that KNOWS his stuff and is always able to answer questions in lecture and office hours. His accent enhances the lecture if anything. Read and attend class and it's not that hard of a course.

Nice guy, loves to talk and you can tell he knows a lot. It's just hard to understand his thick accent and his lectures are long and boring. The iClicker questions were helpful for tests and the curve definitely helped in the end.

I love Ulrich, I found his lectures to be very interesting, his tests were easy if you paid attention and although at times his accent is a little hard to understand, he is very helpful if you are having trouble and overall easy to understand.

Professor Mayer is a nice guy but gives extremely boring lectures! The tests are nearly impossible if you don't fully understand everything from lecture. Don't waste you're time ready the book because it doesn't help much. His tests are hard but overall the curve helps in the end. Not a terrible teacher but definitely not my first choice.

Would not recommend. He is hard to understand sometimes with his accent, does not clearly explain things, and his powerpoints are AWFUL. You would learn more psychology by just reading the book rather than listening to him drone.

Mayr a.k.a. Pimp G is a fabulous professor who's class may be difficult for those who do not attend lecture. I thought he was straightforward and his tests were fairly easy. I recommend taking a Psychology class from him at least once in your lifetime :)

Mayr is an interesting guy. He had trouble keeping my attention but he definitely knew what he was talking about and seemed really passionate about psychology. He put funny jokes in his slides if you paid attention. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading the book and attending the lectures! You cannot succeed in this class without listening to his lectures!

You have to read the text to get an A in this class. I read the book, I got an A. Dr. Mayr is a very good teacher, answers email quickly and is always available for office hours. Most of the people who didn't do well in the class tried to pass by just attending lectures and reading the notes; not possible with this material. You must read the text.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Was foreign so hard to understand, tests were ridiculous, lectures were boring. I am a psych major and he made the subject extremely boring and makes me want to quit my major. He was unfair, and I DO NOT recommend him to anyone. Waste of a term waste of my time.

Ulrich is a super nice guy. His lectures are informational, which is nice cuz i hate sitting in a class full of tangents. His tests are fairly easy, and my psych201 was a fairly entertaining class considering i have no interest in the subject. I would definitely recommend him. And its doesnt hurt if you miss class really either.
