I have studied Indian history all my life in India and thought this was going to be a piece of cake, as it turned out I was dead wrong. She might have a PHD but hasn't got a clue how to teach. She makes Indian history boring but gives wrong information. The history dept. should re-think her hiring. She is everything negative that the ratings tell.

Her lessons are confusing and she is indifferent to students. I tried to give her a chance, but she proved she was not a good teacher. I proved she was unqualified and got my full tuition back after 5 or 6 weeks. To all students, prove your case against her and get your tuition returned. Let's stamp out tenure and all unqualified instructors!

not very nice and LOTS of reading! expects every1 to know everything about India, doesnt realize thats why we are taking the course and she needs to clarify things and explain what they mean and who these ppl are. i do not recommend for non-majors but for majors may not beable to avoid.

This prof. began to dislike me as I registered late for her class. After being nice to her twice and receiving no positive feedback I DROPPED HER CLASS. The tension between India & Pak is interesting but she makes it BORING! Just don't take her, Im glad I read these reviews before geting a low grade

Please DO NOT TAKE HER. I am from Pakistan I also have an Indian Back ground, I thought I will pass her class because I am from Pakistan and I know little bit of Indian history. But I ended up with a "C". She is the worst professor In the world She thinks she is a hot shot but she a tough B***H!!!

I made the mistake of taking her prior to checking out her ratings. Let me just say...big mistake. If, by any chance you can avoid her, do so. She is intelligent, I will give her credit for that, however she makes her lessons so much harder than they have to be- not easy to follow her.
