He is a great professor, but, his explaining... He could work on that. Sometimes he just rambles things and doesn't explain where the numbers came from... If you ask him too much, the answer is read the book... Apart from that, great professor!

Super easy class. His exams are a lot like the take home exams and if you do well enough on the quizzes and exams you don't have to take the final which is open book and notes

He is by far one of the best professors i've ever had. He is very smart & teaches you both what you need to know for the course & how to be well off financially in life. Also, he is a funny person which makes every class quite enjoyable. A decent amount of quizzes, but he drops a few, which makes an A reachable. All finance majors should take him.

The best finance prof at duquesne. If you do poorly it is probably because you came into the class with absolutely zero finance knowledge whatsoever. With that said, his exams are very easy anyway and the final is optional. Finance majors should absolutely take him.

Prof. Bhaskar is a really awesome instructor. He helps a lot. Don't hesitate to meet him during office hour. Although he has lots of quizzes, no worry, they are easy and fair quizzes if you have studied. You can have two part of exam: in class and take home. Highly recommended!!!!

I am currently earning my doctorate in corporate law, which will be completed in Spring 2016. The theory and guidance that I received from Professor Bhaskar was more than instrumental in giving me the tools to converse with scholars in the field and even put me above the average worker in general finance or investment analysis. A great professor.

Great guy that knows his stuff and is fairly interesting. Some of the material is foreign to many people and Bhaskar can be hard to understand at times, but for no reason should that impact your experience. I would highly recommend if you would like some practical finance knowledge.

Although sometimes hard to understand, his lectures are great and have good real-life applications. If you attend class, do your work, and study a decent amount, you will do great in his class. Don't skip class and miss quizzes, that will immediately lower your grade. Optional final if you like your grade at the end of the semester!

Bhaskar genuinely cares about his students. He often gives you the choice of how you want to be taught (powerpoint vs chalkboard, lectures vs notes, etc) and even what days to have tests. I am horrible at finance, but he made it interesting and I learned a lot. funny guy, great teacher. Optional final!

Professor Bhaskar is a great guy who will help you learn his subject. The key to success in his class is attending class, taking notes, and doing the homework he assigns (which is minimal). If you don't do those three things, you will become very lost and frustrated. Overall, great guy and great teacher.

Overall the class is very easy. Go to class, take down every note he gives you, study these notes for the tests. The only thing you need the book for is to do some practice questions. Make sure you know all the material for the test, as missing one point on his tests is very detrimental. Overall he was a very funny laid back teacher.

Class isnt mandatory but definitely recommended. The topics are hard but he brings in real world application. Hes funny and a good guy. Take him if you have the chance.

Great professor, great sense of humor, explains everything thoroughly, easy to understand and talk to. His class is fairly easy, bnut he is extremely fair. He doesn't bump up grades for people he likes, nor down for people he dislikes (are there any?). You get the grade you earn on his asignments. I'd take him again in a heartbeat.
