She is amazing! She is willing to work with you on issues beyond her class and wants you to succeed. Your grade is based off mainly attendance so showing up is important. You also do all work outside of class. She takes time to get to know you if you let her and her love of the class will make you love it to!

She's an amazing teacher! I got over a 100 in her class because she gives so much extra credit. There's isn't too much work and she's laid back about it. She also brings bagels for every quiz, which are so easy I almost want to take quizzes all the time just to get the bagels!

I love Dr. Rutledge. She makes Latin so enjoyable, and she always is so sweet! She brings candy and Bagels on quiz days. The best professor at UTC by far.

Comment:

She is the sweetest teacher ever. She made Latin super fun and easy to understand. She was very understanding about absences and even offered me an override when her class filled up the next semester. She brought us Panera Bread bagels multiple times, Halloween candy bags and McDonald's for the midterm. Take her if possible. You won't regret it!

She is the best teacher I ever had. I heard that Latin was a hard subject, but Mrs. Rutledge made it super easy. She is so sweet and willing to help all the time. You do 5 or 6 quizzes a midterm, and a final. She has extra credit on all test/quizzes. I love her so much. Definitely take her class.You WILL NOT regret it.

Dr. Rutledge was a good professor; however, because of her responsibilities to the education department, she was hard to get a hold of from time to time. Needless to say, she was very fair in her grading. Her ESL course is definitely not easy, but if you keep up with the assignments you will do just fine.

She is fine as an adviser. However, she was over my ESL practicum. She was extremely unhelpful. She didn't give me a list of teachers I could work with until Spring Break, despite my asking her every week since school began. She gave me no guidance or help. She didn't return phone calls or half of my emails. It was frustrating.
