studied the work that was given, read the book, even made flashcards out of the outlines&felt overly prepared to be tested but after failing the very first quiz i called BS. Half of what was on the quiz was not in our books or in the outline/powerpoint. IMO no room for advancement (no extra credit/retakes) seems nice but i didnt think it was fair..

not flexible at all. VERY strict following everything on the syllabus, and doesn't seem very willing to work with students. Most students taking online classes have work or other things going on - hence taking an online class. She is not very adapt to this. I could not wait for this class to be over.

Vigorita was good. Not the most inspired lectures, but she fostered a good atmosphere for class conversation. It was a pretty fun class. The tests and papers were done online, and weren't hard as long as you did your work. Participation is important, but as long as you dot all your i's and cross all your t's you should get along fine with her.

i like vigorita. very nice lady, will try her best to help you. all the tests and quizzes are online. just read the book and the online notes and you should do ok. all in all i would recommend her.

Vigorita is a good teacher. I must have driven her insane though, I don't like sociology so I would turn almost every class into some relevant passionate debate. Which was fun. She teaches the information well, quizzes and tests are all online. All and all she was a good teacher who I would take again.

I took the online class. You basically teach yourself. The quizzes often ask questions that you wouldn't study. The midterma and final count for 50% of the grade, so it is tough. Professor Vigorita seems fair enough, although she really doesn't teach anything. I would take another class with her again.
