I had her for Calculus during my first semester in college back in Fall, 2005. Since then I haven't encountered a professor who was able to teach such a difficult subject and yet provide the clarity and resources needed for her students to succeed. It's the only time I've had a math class that was both challenging and rewarding.

Just picture your grandmother just that she loves Calculus. She makes it soo worth taking 140A over 140. Its still the same material just more credits so its no big deal. If you want the best shot at getting an A in this class take Eshbach you will not be sorry.

She is literally one of the best mathematics instructors I've ever had (in comparison with High School). I came into her class with the knowledge up to Pre-Calc in High School, and she really blew me away with her knowledge and fantastic teaching ability. It doesn't get any better than her, guys, if you need to take a higher level math course.

VALETTA!!!!!!! pretty good teacher, she knows her stuff....u need to do the homework, it will help you out alot, also study the best you can before the test and do as many practice problems as you can so she doesnt steal your thunder...and remember class "you have to take it to the limit"

She is probably the easiest math teacher I have ever had. She goes through examples extremely thoroughly and makes them easy to understand. The only annoying part is that she gives one graded assignment every week, whether that is in the form of a quiz or test so it gets fairly annoying, but the two lowest quiz grades get dropped.

She is a very nice teacher. I didnt do so great in the class, but that is my fault. Do you homework, I didnt and that hurt me because she takes the quiz questions off of the homework. Just remember kids, you need to push it to the limit.

Incredible teacher, and this is coming from a kid that got a C in her class. Extremely helpful, always at her office hours and even will stay later if you need help, all you have to do is ask. The course itself was not easy, but that is probably just me, but she's clear and always willing to go over things with her students.

Good professor. Holds a lot of office hours to help students. Take advantage of them. The online homework was fairly easy. She gives a quiz about once a week. The tests are both easy and fair. Sometimes she talks fast and jumps around, but you can still understand what she is talking about.

uhhh not sure what all these other people are talking about, but she was very unclear, unhelpful, and liked to argue. Maybe it's because this was her first time teaching stat, but half the ppl in my class had no F-IN idea what was going on. My advise-do NOT take any kind of stat course at berks. Community college is the way to go!
