Grade was based on reading assignments which she went over the answers in class to make sure everyone was on the same page. We also didn't have any tests, midterm or final.

overall she is good really nice person, but there is a lot to do also sometime you get lost of what she is asking for or when is the due date, participation is 5%, if you don't be patient you wont be able to pass, she allow you to redo the paper until you be happy with it- presentation 10-15min round table, no exam it was Int Seminar/Peace &Conflict

Outstanding professor!! I love her style of teaching and the topics she cares about. Interactive, passionate, and very, very smart. This was my third course with Professor Gray -- she is probably the main reason I have decided to go on for the masters degree here.

Prof. Gray is a kind person, but not the best instructor. Discussion and participation are encouraged, but the lectures are all over the place and off topic. The entire semester's assignments are in the syllabus, but due dates are sometimes unclear! Do well on the homework, and pass it in on time, and it's an easy A.

She does not give due dates. It's kind of a guessing game as to when things are due, and exams are rare, leading assignments to be a majority of your grade. She also got "overwhelmed" by having 40 students in her class so she split us into Monday and Wednesday classes, literally splitting the class in two. This NOT what I paid for.

If you do the assignments you will do well. Some of the class discussions were amazing, she encourages you to speak and has no problem if your views are different from hers.

Tough but fair, plain and simple. I seriously don't understand the negative reviews. This course was a difficult 100-level course. She is open and honest, with her expectations. Attend the lectures, do the reading, participate and work hard. You'll do well. Huge Plus: Incredibly unbiased approach to class discussion, hard to find in a Poli class.

Absolutely terrible class and a waste of time. Do not take this class. This woman will talk about nonsense during lectures and blame everything on her TA. 0/10

Extremely disorganized, and does not focus on the topic so in the end you learn a bunch of useless info. Super boring lectures. Gives the most random assignments, sometimes have nothing to do with the class. Tests are ridiculous. Questions are unclear and about topics not discussed in class. Takes forever to grade stuff. Most frustrating class ever

Nice person but really bad teaching style. Lectures are boring and she'll go off on random tangents which leads to never finishing going over questions. She's always complaining about her TA and very unorganized. Do not recommend taking her class.

Professor Gray is nice professor. However, she is all over the place with her lectures and assignments. She does not give good feedback and relied heavily on her TA at the beginning of the semester when grading the homework questions. These are the only assignments we received. All in all the last was disorganized.

I had professor Gray for Intro.Environmental studies during the summer and I loved the class. Interesting readings, discussions, documentaries. It was one of those classes that shaped my view on the world. She is fair grading and gives you what you deserve. I highly suggest taking her if you are a serious student. Many aren't that comment on here

Nice lady, however she is unorganized and took a long time to return graded work. Grade was based on two tests and 10 homework assignments, most of which are opinion questions on various topics. Used a lot of documentaries in class to show various topics related to conservation of the planet. Definitely your typical liberal hippy type of professor.

Nice lady, boring class. She was given this class 2 weeks prior to the star of the semester, not sure if that is why its so unorganized and chaotic. Did nothing fist half, overloaded with work second half. International Relations with her is so boring, fight to stay awake. Very helpful though and a nice woman.
