Many of my classmate failed her course (and bad, like 30%) I did well, not because of her but because I had taken a similar course previously. She is a very nice person, but not a very good teacher.

Yikes! extremely boring/hard to understand lectures. She has a monotone voice that will put you to sleep. Accounting is hard enough to get through, she does not help. Doesn't really teach hard problems well, so if you take her be prepared to put a lot of work in to get through the course and ask for outside help.

Accounting is boring. Vanessa does not make it interesting: nobody can. She teaches you what you need to know to do well, if you put in the effort. Listen to her advice on the first day of class, from what I remember, it was all true.

She focuses on the parts that are easiest and expects you to go home and learn the difficult parts on your own. She is also extremely boring and should just plain not be teaching. Her old boring strategy of lecturing has GONE OUT OF STYLE. TIME TO RETIRE.

I am in the last person's class. I disagree. the course is pablum. It is the easiest of all my courses. I have spent a grand total of two days work in this course, one for each midterm. Vanessa explains stuff as if we were in grade five. Really boring class though (duh - accounting). Vanessa is fine

She should stick to writing harlequin novels, teaching isn't her thing, she talks to first year students like they already have experience in accounting. Its funny how I have 1-A and 3-B's and then barely passing her class. The 3 hours wed. night once a week isn't enough for a class this intense.
