mr mullinax was a pretty cool teacher. a "marshmellow" if you will. gave out easy "a's" as far as the speeches and papers go. but study hard when it comes to the tests.

Very strict about puntuality as he should be. difficult to make a speech if people keep walking in in the middle of it. Does appear to favor males and young scantily clad females. You can still get an A, you just may have to work harder for it.

I was petrified to speak in public, Vanya has a way of bringing the class together, thereby creating a comfortable atmosphere. I didn't feel that he was super easy, his critisim is helpful, but often based on how he feels that day. He's human, after all

I got an A, but he can be very critical on some of his students. Some people were very poor speakers and got A's while others that were very good recieved B's and C's. He bases grading on how he feels that day.

Fun class but didn't really learn much. Can't imagine anyone making below an A in this class. Nice to get an easy A but felt like I wasted my time and money. Can be moody and anal at times.

I think Mr. Mullinax is a great teacher. If he has a problem with your writing it might be because you can't write. I don't think you should even have to write a paper in Speech Class, but I don't think that's his doing.

I feel that Professor Mullinax is not only unfair in his grading he tends to be pretty rude. He assumes that because he doesnt understand a student's writing that nobody else does either. Also he is quick to judge his students and occasionally slanders.

Very unfair in his grading. Has been known to tell students to "dumb up" their speeches because they are too complex. Sorry, I thought this was college. He also reads the textbook. Maybe he thinks his students are a bunch of illiterate idiots.

"Peace, Love, and Good Health." He will end class with this saying every day. He is pretty relaxed most of the time but he is apt to tighten the rules every once in a while. Tests are take home or open book, for the most part. Overall,a nice guy
