A real hip lady, I never went to class and got a B+. I saw her like ayear after I took the class and she remembered my name. It was a very interesting course from someone that actually knew what the hell they were talking about. A novelty at unlv.

She is a very very nice lady. At first the class was very interesting. We watched a lot of videos, but towards the end she started putting up lectures on the projector screen and just reading what was already stated... Didn't enjoy coming to class much after that. Her class is not too hard and she is not a strict woman.

Prof Cassman is the worst professor i have ever had. She is extremely boring and stumbles over her words a lot. It seems like she never knows what she wants to say and she isn't a good public speaker at all. If you have a short attention span, don't take this class because you will just end up sleeping or drooling all over yourself.

Wonderful teacher, cares personally for each one of her students. I have never seen a teacher so committed to seeing her students succeed. I have nothing but the best to say about this class, and Dr. Cassman as a teacher.

Learning about human cultural differences and embracing them was the overall experience of the course. The class is easy to get an A in just read the book,come to class, participate on WEBCT and be really interested and you will not fail. Cassman was good at showing her passion for the suject.

This professor was not clear at all. She always gave new material and expected us to know too much on tests. She did have some good movies, and offered some extra credit, but I was confused all semester! The CD-ROM text was not helpful at all.. I had to buy the book anyway!(half.com)

A lot of work, papers 5-6. lots of web ct and tests were hard. Be prepared. Take notes they will be on tests! Tough but a good teacher. Can be tempermental but fair,open minded, helpful. She made it an interesting class.
