He doesnt teach all the material, goes off on random rants, doesnt grade anything in a timely manner, you dont know what your grade will be ever, he doesnt even look at what you hand in, he puts it through a program that checks it for him so lazy! and if even a space is missing then you will get a 0 for the entire assignment or quiz. horrible!

Good enough of a person, but he is the most unorganized, unprepared teacher/professor I have ever had. Over the course of the semester, we had 5 programming assignments to do, and in the last week of classes, he gives 3 more to do during finals week, the last of which is practically impossible to do because he never taught the material.

This guy teaches extremely well and knows basically everything about computers. If you pay attention, you will learn a lot. However, he does show up late every time and is impossible to reach outside of class. If you show up & pay attention you should be fine. Tests/quizzes are rough because of the way he words questions. Pretty strange

Imagine a teacher that has the work ethic of an average highschool student. This is him. It takes weeks for him to post a quiz that he makes up at the last second and the questions barely make sense. He's an alright guy but a terrible teacher.

Unprepared, late, and disorganized. Assignments were not given on time, and videos that were an integral part of this class were presented with 1 week left in the course. Unfair grading, if he even bothered to grade at all. No feedback given at all. Would never take him again, and if I was a comp sci major I would switch majors. TERRIBLE PROFESSOR.

The one word that reminds me of this guy is unorganized. He never took attendance so there is no point showing up to class. He would say he was going to send videos but never did. or never sent them on time. He gave us 14 programs to do within four days during this 5 week course. Good at lecturing but terrible at being organized and being on time.

This is a professor that does not respond to student inquiries. I emailed him on multiple occasions before the online course began and never heard from him. Thanks to his indifference towards students, I found myself ill informed about the class and its requirements once it began. Any response I managed from him was very delayed.

Professor Sawh gave us two tests throughout the semester that look like he threw together at the last minute. We have 9 projects which the other 70% of grade based on and didn't receive ANY feedback on projects until we had only 3 days of the semester left. Not able to do projects early b/c hadn't learned that material. Still don't know it.

Prof. Sawh is the best. He explains everything in detail. Take his class if you are serious about Computer Science. His motto is "Never trust your client." Some of his assignments are difficult though.

Professor Sawh was a great professor this semester. Although the material is difficult, the professor will try to help you if you ask. Very fair grader, and knows the material well. Do the work, and show up to class. Grades can be affected if you skip class considering its a science course. Those who don't like Sawh, think theyre Zuckerberg anyways

Talks down to students, not very prepared, consistently late, homework is messy and confusing, tests are not prepared ahead of time, does not answer emails in a timely fashion, does know his stuff however and is a relatively fair grader, but it is extremely rough making it through a whole semester.

He gave us print outs that he could have easily uploaded to the school website, which he held us after class to print. He ran out of paper several times, as well as ink and jammed the printer. All tests were online and only accessible through IE. Final grade was 8 programming assignments and a few tests. Got defensive when questions were asked 0/10

Professor Sawh was awesome. He combines humor with learning. He is serious you need to show up on time and not miss a class, however, he does do everything to help you pass and most do because of his work ethic and dedication. If you have a prob talk to him he is there for his students. I highly recommend Prof. Sawh.

Terrible lecturer, terrible test maker and grader. All around terrible. Be ready to fail your first test no matter how well you prepare for it. About 90% of it won't be covered in the lecture or book.

This professor is horrible if you do not understand him and ask him to repeat he will get mad. He is not a people person and by the time the first class is done with him on the first day he has already decided if he likes you or not as a student. If you get on his crap list don't expect to get a passing grade with out fighting with him.

Took Professor Sawh for Computer Science II and an Operating Systems class. He knows a lot about Java, did a good job of making the content seem manageable. Lots of assignments were given out in the CSII class, but he gives a lot of leeway with grading and even takes the time to go over assignments after they are graded.

He's one of the finest professor in ccm, he never bothers anyone one with any kind of workload or assigned dates for submitting your assignment or deducting your grades for late submission. I would definitely recommend to take him cause his class is an easy A with less efforts.

He teaches much more than just this one class. He is the Java God. ppl here do not realize they have to do the work in earlier classes like CMP 113. You will not find this quality of a trainer in the commercial field, so pay attention and learn. He teaches real examples you will use and how to use Java, UNIX etc to your benefit.

Unorganized and unhelpful. Will not respond to emails and is very hard to get in touch with. The Java programming book is useless, he prints out pages of handouts that basically replace it. You won't know where your grade stands the entire semester. However, if you do all of the program sets and make sure they work, you shouldn't have a problem.
