He is one of the worst professors I have ever had. He does not come prepared for class. He gives very little notes. In an hour and a half class you are lucky if he can get through two examples. even when he makes it through the examples there is a really good chance that he messed it up somewhere and his answer is wrong. get the solutions manule

Comment:
he is a terrible teacher. He comes to class unprepared. He gets stuck on the examples he tries to show and even when he does make it all the way through, many times the answer he gets is not the answer in the back of the book. Get the solutions manual and plan to teach it to yourself, it is the only way you will pass

HE IS A HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. HE DOES NOT COME TO CLASS PREPARED. HE DOES EXAMPLES IN CLASS THAT HE, HIMSELF, CANNOT DO. HE IS VERY ANNOYING AND BORING. YOU CAN LITERALLY SIT IN CLASS EVERYDAY AND STILL FAIL THE CLASS. HE ASSUMES YOU KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT ALREADY. YOU MUST READ THE BOOK AND TEACH YOURSELF BECAUSE HE CANNOT DO IT.

In class he does an examples already written in the book, but only one a day. He is condicending and steriotypes his student as newly entering high school students, who arnt smart, but should already know what he is talking about. yet, since we are "high school students" he feels some of the material just to high up there to be explained.

He mainly focuses on problem-solving problems. He shows all the work on the board, and his explanations are very clear. His tests are easier than any other professors (believe me, I have taken physics from three professors and other professors' tests were HARD) as long as you review the notes.

he does not explain things fully. thinks you should already know most of it. goes through a chapter per class. only does like one example problem per class.

Uses slides for lecture that doesn't really help at all. Gives assignments over things that are not covered in class and aren't even in the text book. He does this thing with his tests where its out of 50pts and you get +1 for a question correct and -1 for a question wrong, which eliminates guessing.

Dr. Anderson is a nice professor who is willing to help you. I would probably done better if there were more samples of problems. I couldnt even finish the homework sometimes.

Pay attention in class! The material is really interesting. He is very knowledgeable on the subject (sometimes too knowledgeable; he can go off on tangents.) Online notes are very helpful. Review homework and online notes for the tests. Lowest test grade is dropped.

A good prof, but pay attention and do your hw. Don't skip lectures. People in this class either make A's or D's. Lectures can sometimes be boring, but otherwise ok. Test and grading scale are a little screwy.

He speaks to the class as if you already know the material. Does not explain anything fully. Goes very fast over hard sections and his tests are brutal. If you take this class, be prepared to study hard to get a mediocre grade.

Ok teacher-hippie,laid back guy, draws happy faces on the planets on his slides. WebCT WEEKLY homework is very hard. Some pop quizzes. Class takes a lot of effort and he grades his tests like the SAT's (wrong answer-subtracts a point).
