He may seem a little bit eccentric at first. But believe me, he really cares about each of his students and totally deserves respect. He helped me a lot in piano. If you are trying to improve and you keep with it, he will notice any improvement and help you. Very patient and persistent--a good teacher and a good person.

Had assigned seats but you're allowed to choose which seat you wanted, which wasn't so bad. The class itself was a bore b/c I'm not into music history but this professor did his best to help us understand the different concepts on the tests. Tests were pretty easy and clear, failing them would be ridiculous. Great passionate professor overall

Best Professor I have had in a long time! He his passionate about the course and every aspect of music. He often performs for the class, which is awesome. All you have to do is show up for class and study the book! Tests are pretty easy!

Great teacher. Enjoys what he teaches. Tests are easy as long as you read the textbook, take notes, and listen to his lectures. Not one thing is hard about this class. One of the best teachers I've had so far.

I LOVE this professor! He is so nice, so gentle mannered, really loves music - this class is like a break from all other classes. I had no interest in this class and was just taking it to make up credits but I'm so glad I took it. I look forward to this class now.

Prof Bobetsky, was the best. His exams are super easy, gives answers away in questions. He gives a review with all the material that will be on the exam. Seriously, if you get any lower than a B in this class, you shouldnt be in college. Absolutely, the BEST. Anyone, that did bad, is just ignorant.

Oh, DEAR GOD. I could not WAIT to get out of that class that sucked the SOUL out of music. If you love music (played an instrument) you'll want to off yourself. Guy knows very little outside of what the NYTimes Culture Pages print about. Well-organized, but WOW if he didn't chop the art of music up and sell it for parts. But not a hard A or B.

So easy. The assigned seats are annoying, but the easiness of the class makes up for it. His tests are practically giveaways. He reviews the class before, and nothing on the tests are surprises. He cares about the student and doesn't like to see anyone fail. He will grade the scantron test by hand if you've done it in pen. He's good.

Probably the nicest teacher ever- really cares for his students and gives you every opportunity to succeed. Only complaint would be that from the four classes I've taken with him, they all start to look the same. The workshops he organizes are the best part and he certainly knows alot about the subjects he teaches. Not to mention, he has contacts.

He was the cutest Granpa-like guy ever. Very soft voice and very nice. he tried to explain the strange music terms in real people words. his test were easy, and his class discussions were ok. As long as you read the textbook you can ace the tests. He only knows you if you participate, which wasnt hard either. I am going to miss that class.
