I have him for cive 281. I had to teach myself the whole course, I feel bad for those that are not that gifted in physics. I am pretty talented in physics and still struggled with this prof. Good luck

Very knowledgeable, kind, funny professor. make sure you do the assignments by yourself and for yourself, do extra problems in the book, expect the second midterm to be difficult. have a full 8 hours of sleep before the final and you will do FINE.

Vincent was a really nice guy, and his lectures were decently helpful. He spoke good English but often misunderstood questions to the point where people wouldn't ask. You have an assignment every week that is virtually un-doable without the Docuum solutions. The 2nd midterm was WAY harder than the first so expect that because apparently thats common

In my opinion, he's "fair" but not completely reasonable. Being in Electrical, this course was not my priority. The class average for the second midterm was 53. The old comments say: "Crib Sheet".. NOT THIS YEAR, or else it'd be easy. The assignments are only do-able by referencing answers which are all online. No internet/crib sheet = Difficulties

He has one of the best method of teaching: where the final test is not there to challenge you but rather evaluate your understanding of the material! He's friendly and very helpful. Can be boring and hard to follow but he is not tricky. He is very knowledgeable and it looks like he's enjoying the ride!

Crib sheets are key. Put everything on it during final. V clear, and slow and yes, very dignified man. Sounds and looks like my Uncle Chong, my next door neighbour.

Can't rate him I spent half the lectures asleep :P. Just kidding... actually he is very nice, the course is easy if you study and do your assignments every week, not the kind of professor who wants his students to fail. The material is very hard but the exams are copies of the assignments, just write everything on your cheat sheet :)

All he did in class was to read the powerpoint slides. Exams questions are either from past finals or assignments.

Good Teacher! Hes nice and i think would not fail anyone, unless u got like 30%. His exams r from the assignments and u r ALLOWED a CHEAT SHEET. Take full advantage and PUT ALL PROCEDURES. if u put questions, they could differ slightly and could screw u up. Remember to DO yur assignments and not copy them or else u could fail Good Luck! :)

Funny guy. Just remember to mul-chiply! Ask him about the "super-smart-guy-method" to assignment #10 problems. Don't miss lectures and actually do the assignments (as opposed to copying them from the solutions manual which you can buy from the McConnell copy centre).

Comment:
Exam questions are taken directly from the homework. This class is all about memorization of the homework assignments (hard) and less about the fundamental understanding of the course material. Good teacher but flawed course!
