Comment:

My favorite class I have taken my 3 years at COC. Dr V. is funny, makes the lectures easy to follow and writes down things on the board that will be on the test. His tests are extremely easy if you pay attention in class and his essays have very clear criteria and he is an easy grader. I got over a 96 on everything he graded without studying.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. V. To be honest I hated history, I never would want to discuss it and I was dreading taking this class... But I am glad I did! He is absolutely wonderful, professional, and respectful as a teacher. Makes the class extremely fun and pushes you to want to learn! You won't regret taking him!

Dr. V is a real gem at COC. His class setup is very traditional: He gives a lecture, you take notes, you do a three times a semester and write an essay or two. He tells you what to study for the tests. He even gave us the option to do multiple choice or free response for our finals. Take his class now, as he mentioned he might be retiring soon.

Dr. V is an amazing storyteller. His teaching style is engaging, wants you to think outside the box, 3 hours goes by quickly. Kind, respectful, caring, and accessible via email. Do what's required and it will be reflected in your grade. The Constitution is now my dogma. Dr. V is "Priceless"! Will never forget you! Keep it Kosher, Keep it Clean!

DrV indoctrinates class in2 US history & it saturates u. Tutelage semblance of oral history. Ur on a ride frm ancient America 2 Reconstruction. Eloquent words draw u in making 3-hrs over in a blink. Enriched by fervor/contemp style/grateful 4 exp & skillful adapt of Hist111. Ull think/adapt/create & leave a 21st c Patriot. Keep it Kosher/Clean!

Dr. V is an older gentleman & will not be with us forever. I am simply very grateful to have been able to experience this Amazing human being. V is the standard of what a model professor should be. I am sure he has inspired masses & his legacy will live on through us. Take him while we still have professors like him around. You will not regret it.

Amazing teacher. His lectures don't even feel like lectures, it feels like he is a story teller. I always thought history was lame and boring, and I was really dreading taking history this semester. But he made me interested in it and now I'm telling my friends and family about what I learned in class, and correcting people. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Dr. V was my favorite college professor I have ever taken. He makes his lectures interesting for everybody. I took a 3 hour class with him and it wasn't boring at all. People in the class who hated history loved the class. If you have the opportunity to take his class do it, It is amazing. Keep it Clean Keep it Kosher, Fight On Dr. V!!!

DR. V is amazing!! He's a story teller, tells history in a very appealing way if History is not your thing. Cares about the students; he is helpful and supportive. No homework, but you must show up to class. Teaching style is very clear and he will not leave you behind. I would take ANY class he teaches.

This is hands down the best history teacher you will ever have. He is an amazing guy who really cares about the success of his students and the material he is teaching. Not too hard of a class either if you go every day and do all the assignments on time. Favorite history class I have ever taken and I am a History major.

Dr. V is an amazing professor. Clearly one of the best COC has to offer. History, to most, might seem like a boring subject, but Dr. V adds humor and interest into his lectures that you cannot help but to pay attention and enjoy it. He's so good that everyone clapped like after a good movie at the end of his last lecture. He's that good. Take him!

Dr. V is by far one of the best professors I've had at COC. He involves the class with his discussion and makes it very entertaining. His style of teaching is clear, concise and to the point. Take his class you wont regret it! You may even find yourself as a question on the final exam!

He is an amazing teacher. He made History fun and easy by writing the notes on the board for the visual learners and telling stories by the auditory ones. His class was always full.I wish I had more History classes that I could take with him. Loved him!!

What can I say...I have attended 3 different institutions prior to COC and taken over 60 units already. I've had a lot of different professors, but not even ONE comes close to Dr.V. Take him, and you will not regret it. Dr. V is simply the best.
