class is pointless common sense + reading statistics which she then takes to be both causal + deduces meanings from them as fact, when its just her opinion. she must be under the influence when she makes her tests because she will contradict herself in questions/answers. she seems to 'wing it' with lectures & talk about herself the whole time.Avoid

This woman is so disorganized and close minded. You will have no idea what to expect on the test because she does NOT go over it in class, however, class is mandatory. You will watch movies and she will stand on her soapbox until she wants to let you go. PLEASE take this class with someone else.

Definitely not my favorite professor. If you take her class, I wouldn't even bother taking notes. Just read the book and outline the chapters because that's what you're tested on. Lectures were awful.

I thought I was the only one who thought she was terrible. Gives no study guides, No help whatsoever. Doesnt tell you what to study for exams, just says to read the chapters. Tests are hard, make no sense. Gives a big paper and expects amazing work, but gives zero guidlines so its hard to even know what to say or do. STAY AWAY!

This woman should be working at the SPCA, not a college. She doesn't give good guidelines for papers and is extreemly unorganized. I felt like I could have gotten so much more with another teacher. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!

Shes basically nuts. Doesnt know what shes talking about. Its a marriage and family class and all she does is talk about animals. very vague and messes up on tests alot. Stay away!!

Interesting class, but lacks excitment in her lectures, have to really want to know the information to keep from falling asleep. There are NO guidlines at all to the paper that she assigns which if you're anything like me is a pain to handle. Dont take her if you can, but dont shy away from this class altogether, just the teacher.

The WORST teacher by far. Tests are hard b/c studying is pointless. She gets annoying and is all about her cat. She is bias against men who take her class b/c she asks questions more for a female to know than a male. The only thing that is good is the 20% attendance grade. I got a C and failed all her tests (51 & 47). boring lectures. F rating!!!!

This class is horrible. Her lectures are dry and jump around a lot. Nothing on lectures are on test and even if you read the book, the exams are difficult. I am a sociology major and I still really disliked this class. Avoid if you can, or wait for a different professor.

Dr. Hall lacks the ability to spark student's interests in the subject matter as well as in her as a person. She is close-minded, unprepared, and very irritating to sit and listen to let alone look at. I would highly advise taking a class taught by someone else if you are looking to enjoy college and do well.

Little is added to book in class. Sometimes, things she says in class confuse what book says. Test questions almost impossible. Paper she has you write has no guidelines. Even when asked for clarification of said paper, no other information is given. It is very near impossible to get an A in this class. Sorry, even if you DO work hard.
