Comment:

Sure, she's nice and she's an easy grader. However, you won't learn much from her survey of art class. It's hard to stay awake during her lecture. She's too biased in her opinion of the artworks. The only time she becomes clear is during the midterm/final exam review. So, if you're looking for an easy A class, definitely take her class.

Professor Knussi is the sweetest! She's very passionate about the subject and gives interesting humorous lectures, a bit lost when it comes to the LMS however, but who isn't? Not a harsh grader.

Vivien is a great professor. She's as interested in you as you are in the subject matter: the more effort you put in, the more she appreciates you, the more you get out of the class. Critical learning via readings and class discussion. We all learned from each other, so come to class prepared and interested. (This was a graduate level class.)

Listen What Vivian is looking for is students that are passionate about photography. She helps students that articulate their vision of photography. Her teachings aid you on your growth as a photographer. The students that take the class to get by, or are in college just to satisfy their parents are a waste of time. So she doesn't focus on them.

Viv is an amazing teacher! Her excitement for the subject matter makes you want to come to class. She is understanding and kind (as long as you respect her class). Don't slack off on your work (it really is not that hard and very interesting) and she will be your favorite teacher! Love her!!

She is 100% percent crazy. She contridicts herself, is frequently un-prepared for class and absent. She plays favorites, if she doesnt like you do, not talk in class as she will try her best to prove you wrong.

She's in love with photography and very enthusiastic, but scatterbrained. Most of the lectures center on her opinion of and reaction to the images instead of historical facts. She does, however, introduce you to certain canons of visual and content analysis, which are useful. Exams are highly unconventional in format for Art History.

She might be smart, but she is such a flake as to be infuriating beyond redemption. She doesn't really teach in her class nor is she open to opinions other than her own. She sets standards, then praises people who don't meet them and penalizes people who do. Half the class session is waisted on her forgetfulness.

Knussi is a brilliant woman. Her knowledge of photography is incredible. She gives students a model to aspire to. The only disappointing element was that she was frequently absent from class.
