Comment:
Professor Smith was one of the worst professors I have had in my entire collage career. She was not able to tell what assignments were due nor did she give information on how to complete assignments. When we would have a test she did not prepare us with a study guide or any review. She was unprofessional, unprepared, and disrespectful to students.

Professor Smith is one of the worst professors I have ever had. She was disrespectful toward me and other students. She had no clear grading criteria for a large research paper that was a large part of our grade. Also she went against her syllabus in the beginning of the semester and had taken down practice tests two days early.

Her lectures are long and boring. Read the text before class so you know what shes talking about. But she will also preach about her own views when the subject is something she doesnt like. Her tests are all 50q multiple choice but HARD questions. Only two 10pt extra credit assignments available. Would not take in lecture or online.

If you don't read and study the textbook, you won't pass. Listening to lectures and taking notes is not enough to pass a tests. Learning term definitions only is also not enough, the test wants you to apply it to real life situations. Lectures are boring and slow.

Dr. Smith is very knowledgable about the topic, and I learned a lot! She gives extra credit quizzes, which help a lot! Theres a paper and 5 tests, the final is cumulative but if you do the work throughout the semester you will do fine. She provides study guides for each test which are very helpful.

Lectures are clear and interesting, tests are multiple choice, closed book, and not difficult if you put a decent amount of effort into getting ready for them. Professor is very knowledgeable about the material. Does not grade on a curve, does offer extra credit assignments. She tries to make sure everyone does well.

I took the online class, and really did enjoy it. There are weekly quizzes and a discussion board you must post to. Reading the book and her notes are both very helpful. Make sure you know how to apply what you read, as her tests are not just memorizing. You are also able to take the online quizzes up to 3 times. Would definitel recommend her class

If you are looking for an engaging class in Psychology, avoid taking this professors online class. Per chapter, you get a quiz, one question, and an activity that only works on legacy versions of browsers (not mentioned until the whole class had issues). Plan to memorize all concepts in the chapter.

Dr. Smith is an amazing professor. She knew the subject well and designed her class in a manner that followed the syllabus exactly so you will know whats coming. If you read the chapters, take notes and used the chapter reviews.. You'll pass. You can't slide by in her class but if you work hard you will be rewarded. I would recommend her to anyone!

I took this as an online class. WARNING-you must go into the testing center for tests. Class was NOT listed as hybrid. I took it online because of scheduling issues and here I am having to go on campus an additional day. If you enjoy reading text books, memorizing definitions & taking tests, this class is for you. Otherwise not at all engaging.
