Waste of money. Teaches mostly already known stuff from undergrad - doesn't explain properly learn by your own. Then unsteady aerodynamics - you dont understand anything. Cannot teach at all and does not care for class. Gets pissed at students if they ask something. Never available and always stressed. Poor materials. No feedback on homework.

One of the good professors In Embry Riddle Daytona campus. I was initially afraid since it was my first semester and the subject being a core subject. His accent and teaching style will be difficult for few but he was fair with my final grades. Also a good thesis advisor to work with.

Thought the class would be hard after the 1st HW, but got easier as we went on. Lots of work, lots of projects, but tests were surprisingly easy. Generous grading. Bring a CAS-capable calculator to speed thru integrals on tests.

Golubev was horrible at teaching this class. He wanted us to do projects that were his research, and failed to provide necessary supervision or input. Nobody finished his "final" and most people finished roughly 40% of the test, which he later told us "not to worry about" whatever that means. I would not recommend taking this class with him.

He mumbles alot, gives sneaky examples on test (tells you to review something then gives you something totally different), Stingy on partial credit. Does curve though. He laughed at a kid in class because he asked a obvious question. Got a B was moderate ly hard to obtain.

Extremely easy course, Golubev just lectures, he showed 3 example problems all semester, the book is a good theory book, just like Golubev is a good theory professor, but the actual procedure on how to do problems you have to figure out for yourself. The cycle analysis he shows step-by-step, but these are never the ones you will ever have to do.

The class was totally different from what i expected (like what was covered)...reading the book was easier to follow than his lectures (sit on the right side of class or you won't see what he's writing on the board)... *read the book before his lecture or you will be lost...its a tough class...i thought thermo with Dr. Lee was easier...end of story

Tets require your understanding. If you don't understand the material you won't do well. Straighforward and nice guy. His lectures are better than when he teaches from his slides.

Doesn't give you your grade, you have to work for it. If you read what he tells you and print the powerpoints you'll find it gets easier. Really prepares you for AE 302. Good professor

I didn't like him at first. I thought his teaching methods sucked, and thought his grading was too biased. I finally realized he's a very good professor, and a fair grader.

Print out his Powerpoints and take notes from there! He loves to help his students. He's really straight forward and fair when grading exams. Exaggerated grading scale helps you out. His practice tests are helpful but don't expect those questions on the actual test! Super cool kite-surfing doctor!

Class is straightforward. His notes in class can be a little unclear, like writing over charts and graphs instead of erasing them. Fair grading, and had a crazy curve for the overall grade. Gave away the final, just studied from the practice test he issued in class.

Long live the Russian Bear! Tough in class, but fair and straight forward. Definitely needs a theme song playing as he Bee-lines it from Lehman to the IC.

Excellent professor... knows aerodynamics like nobody's business. It's not his fault the rest of the class don't know what they're doing. He's very straightforward... just homework and tests... no surprises here. Very good teacher.

he is a very smart guy who is pretty nice too.sometimes its hard to follow whats going on, but if you pay careful attention its definately manageable.dont get too scared about the stuff he writes on the board, his tests are farily easy with a very basic understanding of whats going on.
