So far, Ellis seems like a very competent instructor. He is very animated/energetic, which helps keep student's awake and grasp the mathmatical concepts. But, he has been putting more than half the class periods towards teaching a particular student math fundamentals (MATH 103 stuff!), which takes away time needed to learn the MATH 002 material.

Very easy class!! I got an A+ and I'm horrible at math. Everything was very easy to understand but he offers a lot of help if you don't understand something. He always returns emails. Take the class!!

At first I struggled and was so confused(and i like math) but the class got easier so you just need to stick it out. Extra credit on tests and partial credit is very helpful. You dont have to go, but I find going to math classes is very helpful.Mr. Ellis is a great person and teacher!

Nicest man in the world. A genuinely great person. He is a funny and nice man. Cares greatly about his students. You are allowed to use your textbook and a calculator on tests. I got an A and I struggle horribly in math. He is a GREAT teacher! Too bad he is retiring soon. Thank you, Mr. Ellis, for getting me through my last math class.

I am forever thankful to Mr. Ellis because instead of giving me a "D" grade, he gave me an incomplete. That means I can make it up and he'll give me a "C" instead! I think it was partly because he saw me trying so hard. Ask him as many questions as you like 'cuz he won't be mean.Do all the HW!STUDY

Awesome teacher, Great Teaching style, humorous, knows how to teach. Take this teacher for all types of MATH and you wont regret it. I always looked forward to being in his class and i got mad @ myself if i was late. HE IS THAT GOOD. TAKE HIM!!

He is the best teacher, he always laughs at himself and keeps the class interesting. He goes over any problem in the previous homework that you had trouble with and doesnt stop til you get it. As long as you have a calculator, your cool, overall I suggest you take him, he is hilarious!
