One of the best classes I've ever had. He's the kind of professor that wants to help you reach your full potential, but you must be willing to put in the effort. So much of what I learned left a great impact on me. If you genuinely want to gain an understanding of the material, and you're willing to apply yourself, then take this class.

Expected to have read the chapters assigned for the week. Gives a quiz first class after assigning hw. doesn't go over any questions before the said quiz. doesnt even talk about the subject most times during class. I wish this was a lecture class but it really isnt. not an approachable person. he has his favorites, those who understand things quick

I did not enjoy this class! I found him to be rude at times. He talks about himself ALOT. I did not feel I got as much out of the class as I could have. Weekly quizzes based off of reading, with no discussion of the material beforehand made it difficult. Heavy textbook reading and his lectures go off on tangents. Everyone struggled through.

By the end of the semester, half my class had dropped out. If you do the work you'll pass every quiz and test and ace every essay. He gives several chances to edit drafts before submitting them as final essays. Those who did not do the work quickly fell behind and became sorry victims who had to drop the class. For literature, this was a breeze.

I don't think this professor cares much for his students. He is disrespectful and cares less if you work hard or not. He forgets that this is college and not high school. He is bias towards certain students too. He has the potential to be good but he lacks something.

You have two options. take a different professor or don't take this class. Wade likes to see his students fail and suffer so he will do as much as he can to make sure you don't get an A. The best part is everyone I know who has taken his class hasn't learned anything. Steer clear of this man

Coming from a good student, This guy is absolutely the worst professor I've ever had. Makes class unnecessarily hard, gives pop quizzes and has a big ego. Midterm and Final were unreasonably difficult. His teaching methods are outdated and foolish. expect to get no higher than a B for working your butt off Don't take his class under any circumstance

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS! This might be the worse professor I have ever taken! He is completely unorganized and seems like he doesn't know whats going on and neither will you. Class in a waste of time. He talks about random topics that are pointless and expects you to know the whole book. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from "Wade".

This guy makes this class much tougher than it needs to be. He spaces out and talks forever, most boring class ever. Treats students poorly. Hands out reading material and assignments that are too tough for this level and knows it.

Professor Tarzia is intimidating at first but once you get to know him he isn't bad. Definitely a tough grader. Make sure you read, he gives pop quizzes almost every week on the chapter.

I thought he was a great teacher once you are more familiar with his class, he'll respect you if you respect him, he does require a one page paper on the reading you do, and sometimes he does give pop quizzes on the reading so make sure you do so, if your not happy with your grades or you don't understand something you must address it to him.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE NOT A GOOD WRITER! I cannot stress this enough. Tarzia is a great teacher who constantly makes connections to the real world so you can understand things. He is also very understanding. However all work is done with essays. You will not pass if you cannot write well.

His class is tough. He assigns an essay that has to be exactly one page long almost every class. And if you don't have a one page essay due you will certainly have another essay that's a few pages long due. Rough drafts are done for every paper. You have to read the chapters of the book & be prepared for pop quizzes

Really tough grader, says that receiving an A in the class should be like winning a gold medal in the olympics. Also not that interesting of a guy. HOWEVER, if you try really hard in his class from the start and read the material. You can salvage a B without too much trouble.
