Comment:

Professor Lambert is amazing! Lecture heavy and a lot of notes. Memorization Is a key skill to have since its vocab heavy. Attendance matters a lot of material covered in one day. Book not really needed if you take good notes. He's also a tough grader, overall his class was a pleasure to be in and he's a good professor to have and learn from.

He is a cool professor. He gives lots of notes. His quizzes are pretty straight forward and so are his exams. He is approachable and very corny, but many people do struggle in his class because there is so much to study but not all of is covered on his exams or quizzes and his pop quizzes be ready for those usually on a wednesday.

Dr. Lambert is really nice professor, he is very approachable and easy to talk to and he loves marine invertebrates. He is a tough but fair grader, but his exams are impossible if you skip class.

He is witty, smart, and friendly, and knows what he is talking about. If you have a hard time remembering scientific terms/ knowledge, this is not the class for you. While you don't HAVE to read the book, it is an easy thing that helps a lot. The tests are hard, but not unmanageable if you pay attention. Good class, cool professor.

Professor Lambert overall is a pretty good guy and he is very passionate about marine biology, but this is probably one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. The tests don't go hand in hand with the notes. He essentially expects you to read entire chapters of the text book to as he say "fill in the missing holes in your notes"

Thought marine bio an interesting GenEd, I was wrong. Majority of the class struggled through it... lots of material to cover and tests are impossible. Lab, was reports are difficult, Don't take him guys! Hes a nice man, but his class is hard!

Thought marine bio would be an easy and interesting GenEd, I was wrong. Majority of the class struggled through it. Lots of material covered, lots of notes, moves quickly. Really hard tests, looking for small details. Labs are relatively easy and don't take the entire time, he helps. Minimal grades, so not much room to redeem yourself if needed.

Invert is a pretty tough class, but he is more than willing to help you in labs and will let you review specimens before Practicals.Attendance isn't mandatory, but its easy to fall behind. Reading the book is invaluable and if you ever have any questions he is an excellent resource. Just don't think that means you don't have to study!

Had him for an intro level BIO course, which isn't really his thing. Lectures were a little dry, but he had to cram a lot of info into his 1/3 of the semester, so making things interesting wasn't really possible. I would guess he is an excellent professor when you get him teaching a class more to his specialty. He's passionate about what he does.

Lambert is probably the nicest teacher ive ever had! He really wants you to do good! Attendance isnt mandatory but he takes attendance and thatll help ur grade in the long run! HE'S an awesome lab teacher and always tells stories about when he was in college. His lectures are a little confusing.. but as long as u show up and ask questions ull pass.

I LOVE Dr.Lambert. He explains things really well in class, and as long as you study for the exams, then you can do pretty well. He is a fair grader...in lab he was harsh on his critiques of papers, but didn't take off more points than necessary. He's my favorite. Definately get him for the bio concepts!

very good guy, very good class. hes clear, and tries very hard to make sure you understand what hes lecturing. lots of notes in this class, but we talk alot and get sidetracked too, so it evens out. i'd take it again.. you watch cool movies!

I only had him for a lab, but he was very helpful.The quizzes every week were simple if you read the lab beforehand. The grading on lab reports were pretty harsh and critical, so if you try your best on lab reports you'll do okay.

Lambert is a very good professor! His lectures are clear and intresting. IT is a very hard course, but what science class isnt. At least with him he is more than willing to help and he reallly knows what he is talking about because he has alot of experiance from all over the world.
