By far the worst college class I have ever taken. He is the most boring and dry professor, who does not captivate the classroom at all. He reads off powerpoints and then gives you the powerpoints. He is on auto pilot. Only take this class if you truly need to. Read the slides, do extra credit homework, and study the practice exams.

This class starts out extremely easy, but then it gets EXTREMELY hard. I read the book, went through his lecture notes, and knew the study guide front to back to study for the exam and still struggled because of the wording he uses. I would not take this class unless you absolutely have to, it is NOT an easy elective.

This is a difficult class, but not insurmountable. I would be careful because I honestly feel like I got a deep understanding of the material but his tests are worded so weird that I ended up struggling to get that A. If youre taking him, trust me, just do the EC every chapter. Youll thank me later. The professor unquestionably an expert though!

i think this class is hard for non-econ majors, after seeing all these reviews it's honestly not that bad, i ended up getting an A, you can't slack is all, skim through the book, and refer to his notes and slides, do practice problems in the back of the book and you'll do fine, he's a great teacher, very knowledgeable i really liked his class .

Good, organized professor! I'm a finance major & an econ minor. Even though I'm not an econ major I didn't find this class difficult. Maybe boring at times, but what class isn't? He prints all the slides for you and lectures are not hard to follow. Gives practice exams which are similar to the actual. If you answer hw aloud it's extra credit.

This class is very straight forward if you attend class and do the practice test. He is a very smart man and tries to help his students. If you understand the practice test then you will do great on the test.

His lectures can be a little boring at times but overall the class is a good elective to take. I'm new to the economics major and I have little background and I found this class easy. His tests are very similar to the practice tests and he gives four quizzes. Just read the chapters, study the practice test, and he let's you bring a notecard.

Here is the deal. This class is difficult for most students who are not ECO majors. You will have to read the book, watch videos (youtube) and give an A effort in order to get a C or B. If you can pass this course then you will have a wealth of knowledge. His grading policy is 25% on each exam (4). Take him, only if you will be dedicated.

I don't understand all of the negativity towards this professor. Practice exam = class exam, with some wording changed around to ensure you understand the concept. Knows what he is talking about and there is ample opportunity for extra credit. Class is a breeze as long as you pay close attention to his lectures.

He does not care about his students at all, his class is extremely boring and he has no teaching skills whatsoever. He is just another UCF bureaucrat, I guess that̢۪s why they made him department chair. If you take his class, and you do everything you possibly can, you will probably end up with a C. PS. He is a complete idiot.

in his defense, he puts up what is almost an exact replica of each test before the exams...and alot of this is stuff we've all seen at least twice before...weird guy, though. he never EVER (sarcastic) wrong so don't question anything he says or puts on a test because he'll find some way to dance around it. his TA rocks, though. talk to her.

i dont know what the people were smoking when they said he was a good teacher, but i want some of it. i went to class every day (a rare occurrence), and everyday, i would just be more and more confused. the textbook speaks in econ languages that you have to have your intro books to decipher. the projects were relatively easy; the tests were hard

Terrible teacher. Does not help you if you ask a question, he just says "that's a little bit ahead of what we want to discuss...so I'll get to it later"- never does and then on test...great huh? Take it at another university if you can, I would do anything not to take him again. Projects are so hard!

This guy knows his stuff. Material is HARD though. If you're not an econ. person it will be a hard class for you. Tests were difficult, and reading the books is a necessity or you wont make it. He is very willing to help, but he wants to see that you have at least tried.

One of the best professors in UCF. Very knowledgeable and a great speaker. Most 3 hour lectures feel long and boring in any class. Take a statistics course beforehand ( you'll follow better).

I would rather shoot myself in the foot before ever going back to this class. Teacher is very UNHELPFUL if you ask questions he just doen't respond. Whoever said he was helpful and clear must really find this class interesting because he sure doesn't make it interesting, he just talks for 3 hours.

Isn't this funny? He's the only one at UCF right now that teaches this course. I would NEVER take him again. he talks for 3 hours straight, no break. You can't understand what he's trying to teach you! Test (w/essays) & Projects are hard! Ask a question, you must be a idiot. DONT RECOMMEND! HORRIBLE
