His class grading is straightforward. 1 test, 3 hw, and 2 quiz are dropped. I attended class every time, and it did not help me with the test grades. His tests are very confusing, much harder than his class discussions. I would recommend him over other teachers, but remember to study extremely hard for the tests.

GREAT TEACHER! The tests can be challenging, but if you pay attention and go to class and study with the book, you will be fine. Also you get points for HW & easy quizzes. Pay attention and study & you'll do well in this class! He's very funny and makes the topic interesting and relatable. His grading scale is very forgiving also.

class is not an easy one, but misiolek's a good teacher. def. better than black or elder. not boring- really loves econ. 4 Tests, drops lowest one. 13 Homeworks, drops lowest 3. 7 pop quizzes, drops lowest 2. Tests are somewhat hard becasue of the way he words the questions, but he does curve them. quizzes & HW are easy. My advice: go to class!

Good professor. Material is hard and he doesn't make it very interesting, but you can tell he loves the subject, so you can learn a lot if you want to. Just go to class and pay attention, study notes for test, and go to his office if you're having trouble, or just want to talk.

really nice guy, kinda funny. his tests can be really hard but he curves the grades higher. defentley do the homework and quizzes b/c that is 1/4 your grade in the end. even though its not required show up for class because thats when he does pop quizzes and gives the HW. if you do the HW and quizzes it almost imposs. to fail. drops lowest grades.

Very easy class. His lectures are boring, but he is very helpful. He teaches straight from the book, doesn't take attendence, and e-mails you all of the HW--therefore attendence is NOT necessary. Read the book and you'll get an A.

He wasn't the most interesting teacher in the world, but he got the point across. His class was very easy, though. We only had a few homeworks, which were very easy, and three easy tests, and you could drop the lowest grade. Very easy class and an easy "A."
