I can't believe i did not pass this class the first time. He really teaches off his notes, and his notes only. You may purchase the book to refer to pictures, but you can use you Lab manual. Also, invest in a recorder to make it easier to understand what you wrote. Such a great teacher!!

Dr.Hays is an awesome professor! one of the best! very easy class to pass also, he explains the information very well and if you dont understand he has no problem running through it. His exams are based from exactly what he writes on the board, because he will discuss then write what you need to know! i highly reccomend him!

Dr. Hays is my favorite teacher! Very witty! He makes things very easy to understand. He doesnt make you feel stupid for asking questions and in fact loves when you do ask questions. You have to work hard outside studying the lecture notes he gives, memorization is key but you dont struggle trying to get concepts down because he is so clear :)

Awesome teacher!!! Very easy to understand his lectures and he is always willing to answer any questions along the way. He writes his notes on the board and his test questions are basically everything he goes over in class. I would recommend you take him if you can. Wish he taught lab for A&P II and had more classes for lecture.

Great A&P Lab teacher! Weekly quizzes come directly from his lecture from the previous week. Very funny and makes 3 hour labs endurable. Will definitely take A&P II next semester with him as the professor.

Says'read the syllabus' for every question.Had to take the syllabus to his office to prove info wasn't there. Note'end' times for online quizes.They close at 2am NOT 11:55pm. Kind of wierd. Didn't respond to even 1 ? on discussion board.CLARITY OF COURSE MATERIAL WAS GREAT THOUGH once you get a working copy of the DVD's (another nightmare.)

The best teacher at HPU for A&P. HANDS DOWN! Do not take anyone else! Exams are right off his notes so study them HARD. He makes a boring subject fun...especially when he cracks his jokes about mongooses.

He's about the best teacher i have had, and he makes things make sense. I had him for evoluntary genetics, and his powerpoints compared to Dr. Brittain's regualr genetics class were AMAZING. He was such a great teacher! I can't wait to have him for Ecology lab!

Dr. Hays' online class is simply excellent. The DVDs are well-structured and the quizzes really push your knowledge of the material. AP2 is going to be hard no matter what, and having straight-forward lectures that you watch at your own pace are really awesome.
