Koz was my least favorite professor in the journalism department. Compared to other professors in the dept., he was hard to be personable with. His Media Sales class is fine, but boring. The topic was not of interest to me in the first place. We got days off because he went to conferences. The final project was fun. Gave class time to work on it.

Koz is the man! So clear with his teaching style, you have to be beyond stupid to not do well. Quizzes and tests cater to those who go to class. Reading isn't essential but it is fairly interesting. Two big assignments...a case studies project (very easy) and a 6-10 page research paper (also pretty easy). Excellent professor, nice man, recommended!

Why wouldn't you get points taken off for what you do wrong? Moron. Koz is an excellent teacher. He provides real-world experiences in the class, and will usually bring people into the class to speak who are currently working in the business. Very blunt, very helpful if you make effort.

I think I'm in the minority saying that I wasn't really impressed with Koz, especially after all the hype. His grading system is ridiculous, you get graded on the things you do bad on, not on the things you do good on. He's a very nice man, but I think his teaching style could be improved upon.
