All I can say is powerful! Really open my eyes. Challenged us to be responsible citizens. She is clearly liberal but it easy to disagree with her in class. I'm a conservative and I enjoyed her class Throughout the class she kept emphasizing that democracy only works when we are informed from multiple sources and get involved.

Great professor. Had her for comparative racial and ethnic politics. She made the case that global race and ethnic responses are often interconnected and can be interpreted through theory. Opened my eyes.

Easily the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with. Offers no help whatsoever. Cancels half of the classes. Ended up cancelling half of the assignments. If you email her she will NOT answer. Can't depend on her for anything. I didn't think it was hard...got an A...but she is just so frustrating to work with. Barely learned a thing.

I am currently taking an online class with her. The material in this class is not hard, however she does assign a lot of work(which is not a problem for me). My problem is she lacks clarity on assignments and it is frustrating. I spend more time figuring out the hw than actually doing it. She isn't responsive with emails either.

Do not take her for an online class, Way too much work for a 100 level class. Does not reply to e-mail at all. If you like reading Supreme Court Cases then take this class but for a 100 level course this is too detailed as it is an INTRO class which she does not seem to get. Do yourself a favor and do not take this lady.

Dr. Davis is an amazing educator. I had her in the last 6 weeks for the EOF Program and Racism & Sexism was my most challenging class, but I loved it. Make sure you know the material, read it and the best way to get thru the readings is by creating a study group. Class participation counts for a lot, so speak up. Mostly lecture so take good notes!

She is a really really good teacher who becomes your friend once the class is over. to be honest, i had her 3 semesters ago and i still talk to her, friends with her on facebook and everything...shes very funny and keeps you amused the whole class, i hate politics with a passion yet i didnt mind coming to her class

If u like to have an idea of how ur doing throughout the semester DO NOT take her. The semester is over and we still don't have grades back on ANY of our 7 or 8 assignments. We don't even kno what we got on our tests because she curves everything which is great but doesn't tell u what the curve is. She's funny thats bout it. Not a great teacher.
