Wendel means well, and his class will certainly teach you a lot however, it is just not for me. I have had two medical emergencies, and neither have them were allowed to be excused. After 3 absences (no matter the circumstance) for every absence afterwards you get a lower final grade. There is almost never enough time in class to finish either.

He seems like a nice man but for the class being a freshman seminar, he grades the projects like you are a professional photographer. I ended up withdrawing after the third project because there was no way to get my grade up. Only a limited amount of projects so beware.

If you think taking an art course is an "easy grade" you have been fooled. Wendel makes you think about what you are doing and why. He does care about his students which is why he always pushes you to do your best. He is a tough grader. As an artist he teaches and prepares you that no one will hold your hand or be nice in the art world.

TERRIBLE , online GENERAL course, he expects you to be a legit photographer. Too many projects, wants pictures perfect and unrealistic when it comes to expecting students are all photographers. If you want an easy A attribute or GAH, Don't take it.

This class is not easy you will have to work for your grade. I enjoy photography so finishing this class was a reward for me. Out of my class 5 people ended up dropping it because they were not passing. If you work hard and have time outside of class use it.

Absolutely awful. Was not any help when i asked for it. Very vague when it came to assignments. I followed the syllabus exactly as how assignments were described, was told that myself and the syllabus was wrong. Very close minded, if it wasn't his way it was the highway. I regret taking him as a professor. Avoid at ALL costs.

Professor White is a wonderful teacher who obviously loves what he does and has a great respect for the Art that he strategically chooses to expose his students to. He expects you to complete your assignmnets and to be responsible for and earn your grade. He's not very demanding, but he will not give away grades. Be grown up and earn what you want.

wendel is a wonderful teacher, very intelliegent. you NEED to ask his opinion or your grade will suffer, but as long as you take his advice its not difficult. he has a genuine interest in all of his students work. definitely take one of his classes if you get the chance.

Wendel is hard to understand at first because you aren't sure how to read him. However he is an EXCELLENT teacher. Ask for his advice on what you're working on, not only will it get you a better grade, but your work WILL improve if you follow his suggestions. He expects you to do your work, which is a fair expectation.

If you just come to class, and do your work, but don't suck up to him, then don't expect an A because it will be nearly impossible.
